I don't know how much (VOLUME) you want to blast so I don't really know what exactly you will need.
I suggest not blasting at full volume for several reasons.

Have you thought about electronic game/varmint callers?
Here is a link to site about this and there are many more.

Just do a goggle on (homemade electronic varmint or game calls).

If you already have a portable CD/MP3 player you are in business.

You need a small battery powered amp and a weather proof speaker.

You can find the amp at Radio Shack and the speaker at other places.

On the site above is a part list for making a remote model..you can just make it with cables.

Just need the amp, speaker and audio cables.

If you don't want to make your own you can still look at the options of portable game callers for Bigfoot calling.
There are lots of hints on using these calls all over the web. The pros agree "don't start out playing calls a full blast. Play them at a moderate volume for those preditors that are close.
I feel this is true of our Bigfoot friend as well.

One day..I know some have seen me make this statement before..I am going to put this and other info on my website.

Hope this helps!

An easy solution I found works well if call blasting into valleys is just a boom box. I found the sound carries quite well...IMHO

As I've always said to myself...Keep it simple stupid...

No knowledge of electricity required for this project. Just get the parts and plug in mini jack plugs into portable cd player..cable to mini amp..to the speaker. It has to be simple..I did it..LOL

A portable boom box will work ok, but you might not want to lug it around with you if you are hiking into an area. The setup I am talking about is small, light weight and easy to set up. The best thing about it is..it's cheap. If it gets messed up in the field you are not out much. Many game/varmint hunters put together this setup for this very reason and it works just as good as the electronic callers costing over a 100 bucks.

Just thought I would ask, what Bigfoot vocals are you going to play and where did you obtian it? Is it free of all background noise? All the audio I have heard of vocals have alot of background noise and distortions in them. When watching programs of so-called Bigfoot researchers using call blasting I notice that they all sound like hell. I wonder what it must sound like to other Bigfoot?? When you guys do this in the field try recording your own call blasting from another location to record your results.

Orangutangs males use vocalizations to attract ovulating females. The females dont call back they just find there way to the source. Only flange faced (Breeding males) orangs vocalize when they want to breed. This also serve to make sure other males dont breed. You would think that selective breeding would slim a population down, but the orangutangs in sumatra are still around. Bigfoot is believed to be closer in relative to orangs in behavior and anotomy. They both have small heads in proportion to the rest of their body unlike all other primates including humans.

Hope you guys get awesome results
