Has anyone else noticed that we're starting to see the subject of "bigfoot" pop-up a LOT more as of late? I could cite several articles written on bigfoot in the last week alone! With the addition of two newly-formed, very serious groups devoted to the subject, and with all the public interest that has been building on a seemingly daily basis(there are 90+ guest online here on this forum as we speak!), will 2006 really be the year of the squatch?

kinda feels like infomation over load to me

Oh yeah,...definitely. Kinda like a renaissance. I'm thinkin' maybe it started with the discovery of floresiensis? Uh oh,...I mentioned floresiensis,...now this will probably get beamed over to where the discussion of the wee bugger's been pinned (if it's still there,...haven't checked) wink.gif

Yeah well I think part of it is people are coming forward with stuff about the eastern bigfoot I have seen it before and I live in Northern western part of Ohio.

I believe that this new year will be a year of discovery of these amazing creatures.

I do not know if 2006 will be the year of The Big Guys discovery. But I do think that 2006 will be the year that the media will take a more even-handed view of bigfoot.

Now you got me singing, I won't be able to get this out of my head for awhile.

Here a bigfoot, there a bigfoot, everywhere a bigfoot,
Old MacDonald had a farm
e i e i o...

then I'm thinking of that, what was it, Fisher Price? That round kid toy. Turn the dial, pull the cord,
hear a cow go 'moo,'
hear a chicken,
hear the Tahoe Scream!

Bigfootery is more or less like Beckett's Waiting for Godot.

`Bout the only play I know of where you can go out for dinner in the middle of it and return basically not to have missed a beat, LOL! Saw it over in Ashland, at the "Angus Bowmer Theater", in the mid-70's (part of the "Oregon Shakespearean Festival" lineup). Yeah,...you have a point, there. Even with bait and call blasting. wink.gif

I believe there has been a unusal shift here as of late. Ever since some people found out about my interest it seems someone has a story to tell me. I have been following up on a couple items here about a past sightings near where I live with, possible, connection to the Minvera Monster sightings. Plus there is some rumblings again near Salt Fork, there was some problems this past summer where they dropped the water level in the lake to ease pressure on the dam. Planning on going down later this week to do some "hiking" around.

Another thing I have noticed too, on Wikipedia, the constant locking of the article about Bigfoot. I will not mention whom is partly responsible but it is generating some interest by some of the User's and Admin's about the subject. I have to commend them on Wikipedia for trying to get a really good neutral point of view on the subject.

Yes, Volsquatch, there has been a unusal amount of interest as of late...
