Is this a new show or has it been on previously.
As I watched the trailer for the show it looks very interesting and informative as to the Evolving of man. Lotta detailed costume work and direction.
With all the hype concerning classifying
Chimpanzees as Hominid I thought it might be detrimental to see at what point man and chimp parted ways.
Could this be the session of time Bigfoot appeared in the evolution branch?
you go that way and you go there.........oh and you

just go!
Thought it might be interesting to know if
Discussion has been done previously here or not?
Where's the ANSWERMAN when ya need him (or her)

I'm not sure it's ever been aired before, but I'm pretty sure it's brand-new. I'm dying to see this!!

My only problem with those discovery shows is that they tell the story as if it were known fact. Most of what is presented is conjecture yet they speak of it all as if proven. Kind of like that one they aired about animals 200mil in the future. As long as they label it for entertainment purposes only I guess it wouldnt be so bad. Yes entertainment is any cable chanels product, they just give it a sciency label, but its still designed for entertainment.
I wish they would make a show like those and dedicate one towards the possibilities of BF and show it as if it were alive and proven. They really dont have too much more on cavemen than they have on BF. Maybe they can compile what is pretty much accepted on BF and make a show like that? Showing them living in their habitat, hunting and so forth. It really wouldnt be anymore unntruthful than the Walking with cavemen show.

This is another BBC show from the walking with dinosaurs & walking with beasts production team.
It is definately the poorer of the three, but still well worth watching - it first aired here a few months ago.

I suppose it has to do with several things. One : most of the producers probably don't give sasquatch a serious look, maybe all of them feel this way.
Two: They have real skeletons from Neandertals and other early men. What do they have on squatch ? I would like to see serious attempts to "real" it as well.
That would be awesome. On one of the cave men shows from years back there were some big boys. Something to do with Fire and Rae Dawn Chong was running around in it. But the stars of the show were killing them with rocks and spears fairly easily. Hmm. We can't bring them down with high powered weapons.
"Quest For Fire"
...with Rae Dawn Chong running 'round with no clothes on... R rated for sure...

All Right kids and moms and dads -
I just saw the promos on this one, Cavemen walking, jiving painting or whatever
it looks ok, but especially thrilling was an image of a leatherface. That is very interesting. Now how bulky and quickjuice it is I dunno. I will try to tape it.

They mentioned and showed Gigantopithicus on the special, which was interesting. Many people think Bigfoot is actually Gigantopithicus...which actually doesn't seem so far fetched.
Overall, an awesome show.

Heres' one
How many species of Gigantopithecus were there?
Officially right now we got two (loook at that pile of stuff written on the subject in another thread) But with the fossil record being so poor for primates
hey, who knows ??????????? Might be there were a dozen species and the one that fits perfectly aint discovered yet. Some kid's sand pile in some field someplace.
who knows ???????????????
