Full Version: Is Bfro Gone ?
I just tried to go to bfro and I am getting the page not found deal. Anyone know if they are gone for good or just a short down of some sort.
Dunno.... I usually get a "Windows" message if a site is off line for a spell, this one is different.. Not computer savvy enough to know if this is significant or not.

I noticed that! In the past though, the site has gone down when there is a lot of data...like the NY baby video...being viewed. It's probably too big for all the hits that it is getting and it caused the hosting servers to temporarily take the website down.
Maybe they saw what Mobigfoot was doing with thier reports and decided it wasn't worth it. 
It's about 17:50 / 5:50 PM here on the US east coast. I tried using both MS IE and FIREFOX and I also got that "Page Not Found" thing. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm....

Dang I must have just missed the video. Is there anywhere else to see it? I just got home from work and dinner with the wife and wanted to check it out.

Says the same thing for me. 
This has happened before; but I've always blamed it on my cave-man dial up service. Be patient (hard to do in this on-demand modern world), it'll show up again (much to the disappointment of the player-haters).
hi everyone & former bfro researchers etc the bfro website is still unavailable but maybe it will come back online soon even better than before. i like reading their expeditions reports & the resent reports section. thanks bill

the baby video was posted outside the BFRO site, so it wouldnt be taking up data space on the site, so I dont think thats the problem.
Maybe someone forgot to pay the bill?

Back up here too. Closed for remodelling, maybe? I was able to bring up individual pages I had saved before I could bring up the site again. Matt notwithstanding, it's a great site in many ways. I'd hate to see it go.
hi everyone the bfro website is back up and running. thanks bill. i guess its becouse people are looking at the new filmfootage that sometimes they have to close their website once in awhile it explains it all in the bfro site. 
BFRO website was never completely "down". it was just the Home [first] page that was down--and was down again {since bill's most recent post} only moments ago.....i have been getting on by using saved links to previous sighting reports during this period...there were even additions to recent sightings page/lists throughout the perceived outage.
Yep, I got thru this morning right away. Still can't see this video everyone is talking about, friggin dial-up!
1:11pm pacific time the site is up and running, so I guess MM was able to cut a deal with the Feds.... (probably offered them discounts for future BFRO expeditions and special fees for BFRO equipment and gear rental 
)
