Hi everyone. new here. frist let me say that i do think BigFoot is real. But why not just get a few Choppers with FLIR...Forward Looking Infrared. The same thing cops use on there coppers to find bad guys. I think it would be a great way to find it

cool.gif Right on, scotto, me bucko! You need BIG dollars.

Just think back to last June when the BFRO released its $3million request for funding to finance and then set up hi-tech surveillance equipment. The recent Thread concerning the satellite-connected imaging gear set up at the African water hole (in Zimbabwe, was it?) would do nicely.

Electronically tripped motion detectors with a direct streaming through-feed to the web would be nice. If those morons who set up the automatic deer hunting web site last year can arrange to have the viewer pay to 'pull the trigger' by clicking his computer mouse - to shoot a deer, then perhaps significant revenues could also be earned back by a similar, but no-kill, programme which would allow a viewer (as well as researchers) to observe squatchy in action in his own natural environment. If I won the lottery it's one of the first things I'd try to arrange.

No, grasshopper. To find :bf: you need :mm: . To find icon_blob.gif you need big stump in woods and camera with bad focus.

Thermal imaging still cannot see through vegitation, bigfoot for the most part stay in coverd areas so even with thermal flying from above your chances are slim, not handheld thermal imaging under the canopy is the key.

What is needed is a splinter cell. Those that have played the game will know what I mean.

Well, I'm an old lady, and I don't play games. Please explain!

Oh, I'm sorry, I just noticed that you are new to the forum, Roadrunner. Welcome! This is an interesting place to be! There are lots of things to learn here, but I probably don't have to tell you that! I hope you enjoy your experiences here.

I hear that the newest thing in BF research is to lay under a big log and scream for help. laugh.gif

Sounds like a cheap way to catch Bigfoot to me. laugh.gif

It's hard to explain without having played the game yourself. A splinter cell is equipped with night-vision and thermal vision at the flick of a button and its aim is to not be seen or heard, and gather intelligence. You'll get an idea by watching a clip. http://media.ubi.com/emea/scpt/videos/SCPT...ase_trailer.wmv

Maybe we can recruit Sam Fisher to join our cause.

Having one of these would be optimal (without the hellfire missle), but sadly not feasible at present. However, a few dedicated individuals with plenty of disposable income and technical imaging abilities could reasonably rent a plane flown by a professional pilot and recon a specific area.

Hey, if youve got 6 mil you can spend like that go right ahead.

Maybe a cheaper version would be to use one of those planes that help teach geese and ducks where to migrate, customized to include an infrared camera. No licence needed, either.

Before you lay under a log here in old Ga,, you better be sure a RATTLER ain't got the same idea!!!!!!!!!!!!
