M. Night Shyamalan who directed Signs is making a movie called "The Woods". Based on the little bit of premise I know, and his previous movies, I think it involves BF or BF like creatures. The following quote is from Yahoo Movies at

This one sounds like a deal where you break your hands grabbing your theatre chair. Good. Some of us need to get ready. I think back to the movie Towers
or the deal with the orks. Man that one alpha special ork dude ... all he needed was some hair and up them shoulders a bit. dont need to see him unexpected close up at night.

I've heard from the "Grapevine" at least two other scripts being inspected by Hollywood concerning the Bigfot creature.
These were represented by actual field investigators, I believe though FICTION was added to the real claims to mold it into a hollywood script.
We'll just have to set back...wait...and see.

A new BF movie done really well would be fabulous! With the current techno-feast effects that are commonplace in today's films, imagine the justice that could be done to an onscreen BF critter!!!
Of course, you would need a heavyweight at the wheel, and I think Shyamalan would be great for the job. "Signs" scared the living
outta me!!!

So way cool!!!! He will do a good job I am sure. I wonder who is talking to for research?? I hope he talks to someone good. I am going to email him somehow and tell him to visit here and look for info here.

It should be good, but prepare yourselves to be disappointed if it is not a Bigfoot movie. There are lots of other things the creature could be, but a mythical creature from the woods sounds like BF to me.
