I think a little too much emphasis is being put on the "right eye". Like Woodshadow mentioned back in December, there are a lot of these artifacts all over the image. I've used the Red Pen to hilite them.

The second area I've hilited with the contrasting Green Pen is an area that appears to show a really good example of pixel blow-out due to over-exposure of the camera's CCD. I think the other artifacts are related to that as well.

In all, I think this still is insufficient to try to come up with a sketch of a sasquatch face.

That being said... I saw Scott's story on that Into the Woods clip on YouTube or wherever I saw it, and about peed my pants. Super creepy story, especially how his buddy has just lost it after that encounter. My gut feeling, and yes this is purely emotional, is that Scott and his companion did encounter something in the woods that day. What it was unfortunately can't be discerned in this still. The image quality is too, too poor.

Hopefully this will begin to change as HD camcorders start to make their way into the hands of vacationers, campers, and the like. That might provide the possibility of image analysis of frames that a standard camcorder, even digital, can't.

I guess the clincher for me is Darryl's unfortunate, but understandable reaction to his sighting. I recently read that he was the father of the kids who had the sighting and suffered some sort of mental break or something. Was this right away?

Because I read that Scott returned to the mountain the following day and found the nest, etc. Did Darryl go with him?

Say I ran across your other documentaries on the pct. Reminds me of a place I used to work in the late 90's, Olallie Lake, just north of Mt. Jefferson in Oregon on the PCT. There is a little general store and cabins.....Had some great times and met some great hikers. I remember two crazy guys trying to go Mexico- Canada and back in one summer. Also had the delight of joining a keg party with hikers ending their trip at the lake!

I am thinking that finding such a fresh nest, It might be a good idea to take off all your clothes and roll around awhile. That way you have a chance of getting some lice that might yeild some clues on the origin of the species.

Hey dudes, I've not taken the time to read all of the posts before mine to see what's been said, and I don't really care but I've heard Scott Herriot tell his story and give his opinion of the video on numerous Bigfoot related podcasts. I've seen the video and didn't see anything that I could recognize as unusual, but hearing the way he talks about it he seems to believe that he saw and videotaped something extraordinary on that hillside. I find it hard to not believe him.

I took what a previous poster did and added my own circles, not red ones though sorry. This is where I see it. The two upper circles are the eyes, and the lower circle is the nose or nostril. Thanks for the pic DDA and Peiltch. Hope ya dont mind.

hi, new to the forums but have been interested since i was little. But just wanted to add that after watching this video over and over again and not seeing anything...I finally saw it today. Just thought I would throw that out there for the people who can't see anything. Now I think it may be some of the best footage i have seen.
