Anyone out there using google earth for tracking encounters?
Google earth is a free tool that you can download (earth.google.com). It allows you to move to any place on the globe and see a satellite photo. Individuals who have information to share about interesting places can create thier own .kvm files that anyone can download then navigate to see the satellite photo for that area. For instance one individual has mapped all of the known Impact Craters around the globe. After downloading his .kvm file I was able to click on each one and the google application automatically navigated me to the satellite photo of the crater. Very Cool.
