sedona arizona recent bigfoot report.there have been several [4 or so] recent reports of suposid bigfoot activity in my state.most of these are in areas that you can easily access. this is good for me as i cant walk long distances without lots of narcotics. i am planning a round robbin trip thru these sighting locations. the first will be the sighting linked to above.i called to try to talk to or find the reported employee listed in the report and was rebuffed. i will recall tonight and talk to the night desk people as they are usually more talkative. at anyrate this area is a very public area that is extreemly buisy on th fri sat and sun. the report occured on mon tue and wed so the camp area is less active. the river area is usually down an incline sometimes steep to over 20 feet. this depends on what part of the river. i will edit this with the web site to the resort area the sighting took place. and will update after my trip the first full week of sept. i am interested in opinions on this report. this is only one of several locations i will be visiting all recent report sites.this particular report interested me a bit more than usual because the employee who talked about bogfoot and other camper who gave warning. as with all eye wittness reports the subject may add to the report to make their event more believeable. i have learned this from experience and am not pinning any great hopes on finding any employees who have other new information. the trip will be fun. they always are

Thanks CC, I was just at Sedona a few months ago. I was looking at staying at Lo Lo Mai too, but at the lodge, not the campground.
We passed certain areas by the 89 and along Oak Creek that was really dense forest.
The report says the nearest road is 50, but isn't it the 89?
I read something about bigfoot in this area being seen that was an orange color.

hi chris thanks for the reply yes that who i meant. but lyle vann does sound like a very nice sasquatch researcher we kept in touch once in awhile he would send me info such as sightings etc from his state. yes i know he believes bigfoot-ufo pheanomena are connected but thats is his opinions etc. im sure arizona will start getting more sasquatch activity. i hope other az researchers here go to the forests with cameras to look for sasquatch evidence in september. thanks bill green

Hey, chrisandclaudia2, good luck on your trip, it sounds fun. The report of the Sedona sighting was interesting to say the least . . . sounds like a good spot to visit for sure. I like that several others, some of whom did not seek to give reports (which suggests they were not trying to get attention), had tidbits of info that add to the feeling this might be at least a sincere witness and report.
Isn't it odd, though, that the BFRO report says nothing about whether this animal was bipedal or not? Was it running on two or four legs? Can't find mention of that anywhere.
Take your camera and a tape recorder, just in case. Oh, and a change of underwear, too.

I suspect sighting reports in AZ on the BFRO website to be on the rise between now and Mar 6, 06  Good luck on the round robin

Another Class B, around Mormon Mountain in May 2005. Didn't see that one on the BFRO til today. Second report from that area. I will have to go back out there as it has been a couple years, I used to hunt and quad ride all the time out that way. It's a nice area with lots of wildlife, you guys should check it out if you get the chance.

I had an opportunity to stop by the LoLoMai campground this weekend and take a quick look at the site.
Interesting place. It's situated on Oak Creek and follows the creek for a ways. The tent camping areas are divided into two sections, one upstreaam and one downstream. There's an area that's pretty heavily overgrown with sycamores and cottonwoods and undergrowth that divides the two parts of the tent camping areas. The whole campground (on the campground side of the river) is pretty heavily wooded with sycamores.
The other side of the river is a nearly vertical embankment that rises approx. 50-60 feet with very little vegetation.
I was there just before dusk and they let me wander around to "check the place out for the future." I can see how it could be a pretty spooky place at night.
The rest of the valley, where Oak Creek flows is heavily populated. The outlying areas, away from the river, are high desert, with scattered pinons and scrub. Pretty open county, but the terrain is pretty broken up into gulleys and washes.
When I got done wandering around, I went back to the office and was going to ask the lady there about the sighting, but just as I got there, 3 RV's pulled in and she was busy signing them in and taking their money, so I just blazed.
It's NOT the kind of place I'd expect a sighting, but there is enough cover, I suppose, to shelter a critter for a short time. It'd be very close to humans though. I don't know what to make of the sighting, but I'd sure like to talk to that gal that made the report.
I suppose it's possible that a critter could have been hanging out in there. I dunno though...

LOL... She wasn't the most pleasant person I'd ever met, especially when I told her that I just wanted to scope the place out. Glad I didn't mention the sighting when I got there.
I agree with you. And I've thought about that before. Oak Creek'd make a perfect corridor coming up from the Verde.
