Sure wish I could go...

And if I do go, I think I'm pass on the blue snowcones... too bad... I really used to love those things... coconut flavor...

Just got back from Hillsboro...long day... reminded me of my younger days, when I used to go to Comic Book Conventions. laugh.gif

Picked up three books for my collection Tracking the Sasquatch by Barbara Wasson, Bigfoot by B. Ann Slate and Alan Berry, and In Search of GIANTS Bigfoot Sasquatch Encounters by Thomas Steenburg. icon_abduct.gif

Steenburg was a speaker and I was able to get him to autograph his book.

So, Redwolf, give us a review. Damn, wish I could have made it. Would have loved to meet you in person as well as the rest who attended.
Redwolf
well, let's just say some of the speakers speculated w-a-a-y-y-y too much  .. but hey! All in all, a good time was had.

I guess I shouldn't say too much, cause Tugboatwa wanted to post his review..so I will keep it brief biggrin.gif

I arrived late, and caught the tail end of Rich Grover and John Andrews vocals, which were interesting, not sure what to think on those though. I was able to hear Rob Alley speak. I am interested in his book due out in a few months he has some theories about "little people" that I didn't quite catch all of because the noise level in the back of the room was bad. Ray had to stop and tell everyone to shut up or take it outside. mad.gif Dr. Henner Farenbach stopped by briefly, but didn't speak. Thom Powell's talk was pretty funny (and interesting) he spoke about habituation, pretty similiar to his speech last year. I was very interested to hear Kimba d'Mechie speak about Sasquatch in childrens literature, but she was unable to make it (grandfather is ill) Let's see, Scott Herriott showed "Squatching" which was "ok" but not overly funny and I thought a bit overpriced. However, he seems like a nice guy and funny in person. MK Davis spoke and nearly started a riot (I will leave you hanging with that one hehehe, if tugboat doesn't say anything, I will tell later) Ray Crowe was getting a little concerned lol. Todd Neiss spoke about sightings on the coast..he's a good speaker. Jerry Mitchell did speak, but once again, he was quiet and the room was loud..so I didn't catch it all. The last speaker was Greg Helton and I will leave my opinion of him out of this icon_bang.gif

So that's a little rundown..I am hoping tugboat logs back on and gives a review..then we can chat.
