Filming for S:LMS II just started. This is a follow-up documentary and probably won’t air until the Nov – Dec time frame. Of course, that is just the working title and will probably not retain the name. I am working on the expedition part right now. It is a month long field exercise and is using state-of-the-art technologies and techniques to investigate the phenomena. We have scientists in the field working the issues; food resources, habitat, infrasound, tracks, etc. From what has taken place so far, it should be an exciting and informative show, if we survive. We have been taking some risks getting to areas cutoff from civilization and nature has taken its lands back.

That's awesome! The original is the BEST documentary I've ever seen on the subject, hands down. And when I popped in the DVD and saw that it was 16:9 anamorphic - I was blown away. Can't wait to see the new one!

LMS 1 was filmed in 35mm anamorphic. LMS 2 is video but it is 24p anamorphic. No sign of the BFRO, even though an effort was made to contact them for involvement.

This show should be more geared to people who know something about the subject. I think there will be a lot of new material in it. Stuff to learn. See how to do specific things.

Wasn't my idea to contact them. I didn't want the show to be purely about entertainment and to further the commonly held thought that the BFRO is the one and only best source material for things of this nature.
People are going to be seeing some pretty big names on this one as well as some real science.

Simian Sentinel --
You can order it here:
https://secure19.activehost.com/legendmeets...spx?productID=2I'm not affiliated with the filmmakers in any way - but it's the best documentary on the subject I've ever seen. Plus, the DVD bonus features include the entire Patterson-Gimlin footage.

Simian,
3 things I use
(mainly) for Reference:
1. John Green's 'Apes Among Us'
2. 'Meet the Sasquatch '
3. 'LMS-1'
I eat that s**t up !!!!

LMS-2....
Can't wait for the second installment in, what 'should' be (IMO) , a continuing series of BF Research Video Chronicles.
Can you imagine how cool it would be to have these released every year or two !!

If you haven't seen Sasquatch:LMS you are missing out - big time! The P/G footage alone is well worth the price. Not to mention the Freeman footage and the Memorial Day film. What bigfootophile wouldn't love to own copies of the best 3 specimens of film available? I can not wait for the next installment. I wonder if there will be some more encounter footage? Marble Mtns at least? Manitoba? The KY pancake video? Is the BFRO involved with LMS? Wow, so many questions...

Hey, DDA! That's great news! It's nice to have things to look forward to. Is there going to be anything new, surprising, or ground breaking in this one, or will it mainly be a rehash of LMS 1 with some field techniques added in? That question sounded kind of bad, but I didn't mean it that way. Here's another way of asking. Is it going to consist of interviews and anaylsis of the P/G film, dermal ridge evidence, and the Skookum cast or will it be something different? Either way, I'm buying it. Just curious.
