Anybody hear anything about this new video of a Sasquatch coming out of KY? I don't know if the BFRO is in possession of it right now or if it even has any merit (none according to my source). From what I heard, a local farmer has been feeding at least one and got it all on tape (?). It may just be too early in the investigation for anything more to surface than this. I would like to see it though. Apparently Jane G. has been asked to validate it so some one thinks something good of it. Could not find anything on the web site yet though.

Do other Sasquatch research organizations lease the BFRO database for display on their web sites? What year will the BFRO database be up for sale? Just thinking out of the box folks. wink.gif Someone had to ask it... might as well be me.

Rick,

I honestly don't have much faith in this KY situation. The story has a definite Janice Coy ring to it. When several Curators questioned the newest pay-to-be-a-member Investigator handling the situation, we were told to back off in the rudest manner imaginable. We were not allowed to question the situation, only praise it. That is very suspect to me.

Perhaps I am wrong (it happens on occasion laugh.gif ) but I think this situation is being pumped up to be far more than it is.

In a way, I do hope I am wrong. I would love to see very clear footage of a real sasquatch. Since I quit the BFRO today, I doubt I will see it unless it hits the big screen so to speak.

Hi there!

I just surf and post, so I'm outta the loop.

As an honest fan of the BFRO website, even though two summers ago they booted me after a month for wise-acre un-PC remarks that I still believe pointed out discrepancies in an account from a Native American tribal elder of hoaxing the 1958 prints, why the exodus?

Really?

If I'm reading a new report on the BFRO, I want at least to believe in some amount of credibility in the investigations of reports.

I sense from the previous posts that perhaps sighting inflation, or better yet inflated evaluation, is occurring.

If not, and numbers of new reports are really down due to summer doldrums, no need for details, but is it simply a conflict in approaches to research rather than a credibility issue?

Like it or not, the BFRO is the only organization with enough steam to have mainstream media with questions come to it when heavily publicized accounts of BF sightings occur.

I don't know any answers because I don't know the questions.

For those of us who believe, are not in the loop, have found a beacon of scientific and sound thinking at the BFRO, and still will until shown otherwise, what is happening so that we may know and alter our perceptions accordingly?

I am making no judgment call. I may be naive, but this issue is well worth a little education for the naive.

Thanks!

I hope I didn't stir anything up for anybody. That was not my intent. Honestly. I have been in this for quite awhile now and would just liked to have seen something like this beforehand, out of common courtesy (I sent the latest I was working on to the BFRO with no response from Matt at all)... instead of seeing it on some big screen years later after the press have had their day with it. Peer review opinion should be sought out, if it can add anything. Remember all the questions failed to be asked of the Patterson film? If that is the way to play this game I am definitely going to have to get a bear cache... did I say bear? I meant beer.

Been there RB and Kathy. Feel free to move about the cabin now. The captain has turned off the seatbelt sign.

Perhaps I am being naive as well (ok not perhaps), but I considered material on the BFRO site to be as close to gospel as I could find. I had total confidence in what I was reading until they posted the "samurai" sound clip. I sat here in utter disbelief, and then I got angry (at myself). Kinda burst my bubble...

I did, however, get a reply once from a curator when I asked about an article I read. It dealt with a guy in Sulphur leaving cans of soda in the woods for sasquatch. He was gathering fingerprints? The reply I recieved stated emphatically that the guy who claimed to be studying prints was a "known charlatan".

I will stick with my opinion of the veracity of the elder's account, meaning I believed he was trying to employ a ruse to keep investigators away. No need to tear up his ground. I'm very sympathetic to that notion.

I freely confess that I do know my agent provocateur method gained nothing. Hopefully, the mea culpa rests in the genuine tolerance of my posts here for those equally tolerant.

You have my sincerest apologies. And thanks for a hearty laugh that someone caught on that I was the rapscallion.

**** - I have some important info for you. Matt
Moneymaker has been working with an a*****e named
G**** C*** on a video of a bigfoot filmed in Kentucky.
The video was about a 15 second clip but is now
around 7 because the stupid people who filmed it used
the same videotape that they taped some home porn on
and in an effort to erase the porn, deleted part of
the bigfoot.

They have new video showing a bigfoot reaching over a
berm, picking up a plate of pancakes, eating it with
its back turned from the camera and licking it's
fingers. The video was taped at night, 150 yards
aways from a camera with IR abilities. Obviously it
isn't that good, but Matt and G**** plan on selling
the video to the public for $29.95. G**** is running
the show. He has told people that he has complete
creative licence on the video and without him, he'll
shut everything down. Matt is running so scared of
him that he is doing everything that G**** says.

I do not have the name and address of the people who
own the property. But if you want to get ahold of
G**** here is his number and email: 8**-5**-7*** and
********@yahoo.com .

You probably haven't heard that a whole bunch of
curators have left the BFRO because of G****. Some
very big names that haven't been announced yet, but
you get this info first, because we know you will use
it wisely. Warning, though, G**** C*** is a major a*****e.

Found on another forum.

The only thing I take issue with in this statement is the fact that the witness claimed there was porn on the tape when in fact during the first information posted it was stated quite clearly that the witness had to rewind the tape several times in order to get his "awesome" footage. My question, as it has been from the beginning was, "Wouldn't the "porn" have been recorded over if that were the case?"

As for the rest, well, while I can't claim credit for sending this tidbit out (damnit!), I can state that it is true.

(Also, I've edited out the pertinent information. However, it can easily be found...elsewhere, if the reader is so inclined.)

Yeah, but it almost seems like they were embarrased to have the porn on the same tape, and recorded something over it to "erase" the porn part, but went too far and went over some of the bf footage as well.

Make sense?
