Watched "Sightings" on the Sci-FI Channel last night. Sandwiched in between Mummys and Earthquake Predictions... a segment dealing with bigfoot.

According to the segment... bigfoot is dangerous.

The proof... 1) No reports of attacks on humans by a bigfoot... but 2) bigfoot is a wild animal (if it is real) and 3) there have been a number of people missing in the woods, and, well, maybe bigfoot got some of them.

ERGO - It may be dangerous to go into the wild because bigfoot might be out there.

Is it any wonder that most people look at you strangely if you bring up the topic of bigfoot?

I am no expert but,I really believe that BF is as real as anything.I would argue that with the best of em.My girlfriend just recently opened up to the thought that BF is real. She was driving me crazy when she did not believe and now she is driving me crazy with all the off the wall questions and bringing over every movie about BF she can find I have created a monster, but I'm not complaining.Man you gotta love her since I've turned her around on the whole BF picture, she has brought me posters, movies, books and figures all of Big Foot. And so on I have to say bottoms up to my girl. With her by my side I wont ever fear to bring the subject of BF no matter where I am.(not that I wouldnt bring it up in the first place,I always have smile.gif ..tennessee hills

Toilets are dangerous too !!! icon_surprised.gif
fact: 90% of all household injuries happen in the bathroom.
fact: toilets are made of a slippery when wet substance
fact: do we really know how toilets feel about us sitting on them ??
fact: most of the time we are in the bathroom, we are not fully awake and aware of whats goin on around us.

Theory : toilets are in cahoots with the tub, the sink and the rugs, to trip us up, make us fall and then they hit us, and project images into our heads that make us think we did it to ourselves. Eventually, they want to take over the world !!!

Hypothesis (ergo): dont go into the bathroom, "they" are out to get us icon_eek.gif

I envy you Tennessee Hills. While my husband thinks it is possible they are out there, he still thinks we are all crazy for trying to find them. :|

I tell him I want to go on a research outing and he just rolls his eyes and shakes his head. If I brought bigfoot up in public, he'd deny he knew me! icon_lil_sick_guy.gif

addition to the original post -

The report also contained parts of an interview with Dr. Matthew Johnson, talking about his encounter with a bigfoot near the Oregon Caves in 2000.

The emotion really came out of him , as he talked about seeing the bigfoot. Very impressive. Although the segment didn't touch on the subject, it's very easy to see why Dr. Johnson is concerned with Post Traumatic Stress Syndrone developing in bigfoot encounter-ers.

Of course Sasquatch are dangerous, everyone knows that. It's a wild animal and it should be treated as such. Hell, even a squirrel is dangerous if it is placed in the right situation.

My dog Oliver figured that out one day...and had a perfect squirrel-sized bite on his nose to prove it!

My office building issued an e-mail a couple of years ago warning of an "over-amorous squirril" in the paking lot... and to be very careful when he was nearby...

That's one problem I do not need...

Is Sas dangerous? Duh, is a bear catholic?

Hey jim, Rob... I once drove a porcelain bus to see Ralph...

And I think I ran over a box of pop-tarts on the way...
