Well, it's tantalizingly close to me.. The idea of being able to take the subway right into BF territory..

The mutant animal idea is interesting, though if it was really happening, i'd expect environmental groups to make some more noise about it.. Wasn't sure if he was implying that the BF were mutant humans of some kind...

Robo's comment for some reason made me think of "kochak the night stalker". the one with the mutant dinosaur like creature in the subways and tunnels under the city. (Robert you need to pass me some of those meds. )

Why should it be strange for a Sasquatch to visit NYC. Didn't King Kong once drop in for a visit
