Okay so I rented this movie this weekend...Boogyeman, the lead actor in the movie is Barry Watson...who was on tv in that 7th Heaven show...and I was watching the special features section of this movie where they talk about making the movie...and when they are talking about things that really scared them...Barry Watson says..."I saw Bigfoot once...my brother and I were talking about this and I saw Bigfoot, he does exist, he is real and I saw him"...he does not elaborate any further....but this made me wonder...how many famous people have seen Bigfoot and would talk about it.....someone should talk to this young actor about his experience....anyone know how to contact him???

Here is some other stuff I found him saying in interviews too:

Although he wasn't scared of any ghost stories or weird legends as a child, Watson is convinced he saw Bigfoot when he lived in northern Michigan on the border of Canada as a child.

"I did see Bigfoot when I was a kid, and I still believe it to this day. I saw a big thorny man outside my window," Watson said. "Not much scares me now, but Stephen gave me 'The Eye' when we were shooting, which is like my favorite horror film now. I know 'The Exorcist' is probably on everybody's list, but 'The Omen' was definitely one of my favorites, and also John Carpenter's 'The Fog' I always liked."

(In this interview..BW is Barry Waston they were also talking to the Director of Boogeyman...Stephen Kay....)

Q: What are some scary stories you guys heard as kids that stuck with you?

BW: I can’t think of anything off-hand. I should be prepared for that question (laughs). That’s the first time anyone’s ever asked me that.

SK: You saw Bigfoot.

BW: I did. I did see Bigfoot when I was a kid and I still believe it to this day. I saw a big furry man outside my window (all laugh). It’s not funny! It was real.

SK: We’re not going to go anywhere near that!

BW: Hey, it was in Michigan on the Northern Border of Canada. It could have happened.

That's pretty interesting, Sosh!

But this comment from the interviewer:
QUOTE
SK: We’re not going to go anywhere near that!

is a good example of why witnesses are so reluctant to come forward with their encounter.

It would be neat to get more details on that sighting!

Funny that these same people who laugh at talk of Bigfoot probably wouldn't laugh at somebody saying they saw a ghost or somebody who was a Medium. It's crazy when you think about it.

Hi Sosha,

I just came on board to the BFF not long ago-so I thought your topic would be a good place to start.

This is interesting info. If he is telling the truth. I wouldn't think an actor would lie about something like this- just because they have a reputation to keep. This is just my thinking on it. As Mountain Lady said- it would be great to hear his story.
Who knows- maybe he reads the Bff!! Seeing as he said he has seen a Bigfoot?

What about a fan club or something like that? Sometimes they have ways of getting in contact w/ them. Just a thought. smile.gif

Always liked Barry Watson, even when my wife forced me to watch 7th heaven back in the day (I detest most TV shows, so nothing personal against Mr. Watson)...

Should anyone wish to see quite a hilarious film starring Barry Watson, I'd suggest seeing "Sorority Boys"...

Damn I laughed my butt off watching that flick...

Yeah he seems like a pretty cool guy and pretty unconcerned about what people think of him if he is being so up front about his sighting. new_thumbsupsmileyanim.gif
