It's on his "Earthlight Theory" book, about UFO-like lights around the Yakama Indian reservation and the Yakima area generally.

Have been in contact with the person that has been doing research on the reservation for quite some time, it's not Mr. Long.

Here is someone that has been doing the research with the permits from the tribe to be in some parts of the closed areas.

Everytime Mr. Long is around town lately, the media seems to follow him around. This is why the negative press lately.

I am trying to round up a few witnesses to show up at this presentation. I even emailed the Dick Vogel Study to let them know that he will be here. Seems that someone has been going around using some others work around here and using it to their benefit.

Will try and start off where you folks left off with him when he was on the west side of the state.

I'm glad that I will be in the Tri-Cities, miles away, that weekend for a Renaissance Faire. Nothing worse than asking questions and getting no or a wishy-washy answers back. Seems to me the Yakima Valley Museum is doing a sideways plug for Long's bigfoot book as they mention him as "(author The Earthlight Theory and The Bigfoot Hoax)".

If they are having him talk on the mysterious lights why don't they have one of their own talk?
Why have an outsider who doesn't even live in the area talk?
So much for cultural arts! The Yakima Museum should be ashamed of itself.
Greg Long and his publisher/supporters are trying to "legitimize" his bigfoot book and his old research by having him present in a museum.

If anyone goes, I think they should bring BIG signs outside the museum and let the museum and media know.

So, is his "Earthlight Theory" book just a big piece of bull...... I mean is it just as enlightening as his book on the Patterson film? As we all know TM of B is a waste of paper, so I am wondering if he at least has one good title to his credit. I have never seen his ELT book in the stores, so I haven't been able to glance through it. And, I can't bring myself to spend $25.00 for that other hunk of crap.

Yes, you have read criticism of his book, not the book itself. Anyway, I think this thread is about Long's earthlight investigation and book, not his bigfoot book.

I have not seen the movie "Gigli" because of the negative reveiws it got. But because I have not seen the movie, I refrain from commenting on it publicly.

The gist of this thread seems to be "Let's bash Greg Long in a new and unique way based on a previous book he wrote". Fine, go ahead, go for it. I'm not here to defend Greg Long. I'm willing to listen to well thought out arguments. Is Long a flawed researcher regarding Yakima earthlights? I don't know, show me how. I've read his earthlights book and I found it interesting. I do not posess the sophistication to judge his methodology regarding earthlight research. If some of you other folks do I'm willing to listen.

If you want to be taken seriously regarding your opinion of a book you need to read it.
