Here is the link- http://www.lorencoleman.com/bflabel.html

Coleman says this is more 'proof' for the existence of Bigfoot. The link shows a drawing of a 'large hariy hominid' that a California Lettuce grower used as a label on their boxes in the 1930's. It does appear to be large and if it is hairy the hair is short. Also it's hair is combed and he has shaven! Looks more like the giant from Jack and the Beanstalk to me.
The full article is in the current issue of The Anomalist. It is not available online , for $12.95 I'll pass.

It's certainly not proof of existence, but it's proof of a history that existed before the fifties. "A startling new discovery concerning Bigfoot" it ain't.

It's kind of cool, though. I'd love to get one framed...

Speaking of commercial stuff....today my hubby was in an automotive parts store and discovered something I just have to share.
There were some large truck mirrors for sale on display. The picture on the boxes was of a contryside road view as seen in a side rearview mirror. You could see a sign that read "Caution - Sasquatch Crossing" and a hairy bipedal figure crossing the road. laugh.gif
I thought it was cute....I wanted the box, but my hubby wasn't interested in buying a $30 mirror we didn't need for a big truck we don't have in order to get me the box... icon_cry.gif
I thought it was completely logical myself!!!!!! laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

Yea, Fouke, Arkansas has a "Monster Mart" convenient stop and cafe where you can go dine in and order up a Bigfoot Burger? or a 3-toed delight! It has a big drawing of "The Fouke Monster" on the outside of the building. I haven't ever eaten there but I have heard the 3-toed delight is a tasty dessert! LMAO
