Anyone else ever hear of a movie called 'one night in British Columbia' with Brad Pitt held hostage by sasquatch? Before you go looking for it I don't think it was ever made.

But he grew a beard kind of like Tom Cruise in Castaway and I've never heard anything about it except a couple of years ago when it was apparantly being made. From what I understand he grew a big beard for the part but it was never made. It was to be a story about the guy in BC who claimed to be held hostage by a family of sasquatch in the 20's or 30's

What am I missing? Isn't he saying Brad Pitt grew a beard like Tom Cruise in Castaway? Tom Cruise was not in Castaway...it was Tom Hanks.

I think the Ostman's experience would make a damn fine movie myself as long as it was done right. The problem is getting someone do it it justice.

It was the OSTMAN experience, the guy, a miner or prospector who lived in BC and said he was kidnapped by a family of sasquatch and then gave one of them chewing tobacco and the ensuing panic of the sasquatch with chew burning the mouth gave him time to escape.

And yes, my mistake. Tom Hanks in Castaway.

Pitt had this long stragly beard, I saw it on something like ET or one of those shows and remembered it because it was about a bigfoot.
