I just saw a Current Affair commercial on Chicago Fox channel 3 for tomorrow's Current Affair episode. There was a quick clip of a still of the Manitoba footage. It looked distant and blurry.

Just saw the promo teaser on Fox5NY. They showed a PISS-POOR video clip and labeled it "World Exclusive Video" on Bigfoot.

They said, "On the NEXT Current Affrair....."

I'm taking that to mean tomorrow night's... Wednesday May 4th... 6:30pm EST.
BuckSquatch
Wow. Seriously I just saw it as I was sitting here reading this. Ah...I dont mean to rip on anybody but the few secs they showed wasnt very impressive...hopefully Mr. Clark will invest his newfound gains on a better camera. Bummer.

By the way, the show comes on at 7pm in the EST

Shouldn't it really say: " World Exclusive Video of another Blobsquatch"..?!!

Working on a ferry in northern Canada, Bobby Clarke has seen lots of wildlife – but never anything like this. As his barge sliced across the Nelson River in Winnepeg, Clarke spotted a dark figure lumbering on shore. It was too tall to be a man. Could it be another Bigfoot? Tonight, in a world exclusive, A CURRENT AFFAIR has two minutes and 49 seconds of videotape you’ve gotta see to believe. It’s the footage news organizations around the world clamored for – and it’s only on tonight’s A CURRENT AFFAIR!

Thanks for that Quake - I hope the TV broadcast is a little clearer
StoneyRocks
notice in the commentary he says" a ferryman in the wilds of the great northwest" --last time i checked manitoba was in the middle of north america.... if this is how diligent they are on fact checking i might have to go back to the World Weekly News for more accurate reporting new_blushsmiley.gif

Wow that is the blobbiest blobsquatch yet!

OOps... sorry for the multiple posts. Something went haywire on me.

I can't even see the photos so I don't know if anyone else can.

I'll try this one and see if I can see it. If not, hey I tried. :pinch:

Hi,
I'm new here but have been following this very closely. I'm reading on BFRO that there's 30 seconds of footage total. What the hell happened to the 2:49 seconds??? They referance that amount on the promo clip, so why would BFRO state so much less? I've got everyone and there nana's watching this thing tomorrow. Telling them it's supposed to be the best footage ever. Very convincing. Looks like I'm going to have pie in my face. Could they only be showing the crappiest of footage on purpose? So no one will get excited over this thing and continue to treat it as BS? new_grrr.gif

I saw this on Current Affair tonight and on a 62" big screen TV its very blurry.... Very disappointing....

I posted these on another thread because I didn't see this sub-forum this morning.

OK - I'm not a whizkid at this, but I took some screen captures. At first I was disappointed, but after watching this a few times, it becomes more interesting!

For instance, the top two screen captures were from the moving video. Then I got smart and hit pause for the bottom two, because I wanted to capture what seems to be a sort of "snout" or wide place on the lower face. Wide jaw? This surprised me a little when I hit pause.

Also, even before the video brightens up, you can see large leg movements, it seems to me. Definitely arm movements in the brighter part. I see some sort of chest definition, too.

Some will think these are just blobs, but still . . . what is it?

It's a fuzzy thing walking. biggrin.gif

Whatta blobsquatch. icon_bang.gif

I just can't understand why it would be this fuzzy, even with a zoom problem. They blamed it on the fog, but it doesn't look that foggy. Shrug.

*Transmission could be removing detail. And, was this taken off a TV screen? If so, TV screens aren't good for close-up detail focus.

*If I was Current Affair, I would make the commercial fuzzy and leave the clear version for the show. A free bite to generate interest, you know. wink.gif

Third pic from Dfoot's post above. The biggest picture looks like it is holding a fishing pole, stage left. wink.gif

Too funny! You forgot the accessories Rick - handbag, and umbrella.

I can see the reception they will recieve when they march up to the scientific community's powers that be, armed with this little beauty! new_whistle.gif

Seriously, I hope the full thing shows something better.

Genuine Fractals - has anyone used this software? It might be useful here...?

http://www.lizardtech.com/products/gf/indepth.php

'cus you can:

"Resize or crop your scanned or digital camera image within Genuine Fractals to reframe and eliminate unwanted areas, then scale up your image up to 700%. Increase resolution and size without degrading image quality"

Edit - bold type.

Yeah, the preview does not look very promising, there has to be better footage then that otherwise we are going to be S-O-L.

I think some Things can be done with the first part of the video before the zoom. Especially if you could get your hands on the master a program like the one you mentioned would probably give us a good idea of whats on the film. I believe the actual footage when air on fox will be "slightly clearer than what we are gleaning off the fox site
sagehunter
wouldn't it be best to try and analize the best pics before the zoom in problems oocur yes it is further away but much clearer

I ought to add that I only threw this in as a suggestion - I remember a long while ago downloading a trial, that from memory only had a limited number of saves - by the time had started to get the hang of it I had used them all up sad.gif

I remembered it today looking at these pixilated images & found the link in case it was a usefull research tool that some may be unaware of...
