I hate listening to Coast to Coast...20 minutes of commercials for every 10 minutes of the show. Over an hour and a half into the show and they're just starting the interview.

No kidding, and then Chilcutt can only be on for an hour, yet he was only allowed to talk for ten minutes because Biscardi keeps yap yap yapping away about how the hoaxers are fading to the background while the ones with the truth like him are coming forward. Yeah, somebody in a fake rubber moth eaten suit pretending to be a sasquatch is the truth, Tom. Jees, these guys (Coleman and Biscardi) are supposed to be on for at least the next couple of hours, you'd think they could at least let Chilcutt get some air time.

I left the show with two questions unanswered: 1) was Chilcutt saying it's possible to fake dermal ridges?

and 2) what is the Ninja art of disappearing?

Notice how they kept referring to the "armchair researchers" in the interview? Yeah, like Tom is doing a lot to advance the research of bigfoot!

I wish they had different people on, like Jeff Meldrum, Rick Noll, Dmitri Bayanov, etc. Loren Coleman is on every other month, give the other guys a chance to talk. Smokey Crabtree came out of nowhere. I like the science stuff that Dr. Meldrum and Jimmy Chilcutt talks about.

...what is the Ninja art of disappearing?...
The ability to hide in plain sight. There is nothing supernatural about it. With ancient Japanese ninja it was a learned skill. I suspect with sasquatches it's instinct.

A big part of disappearing is just staying still. There is some truth to that cartoon where a guy is being chased and he stops and puts a lampshade on his head and the people run past him.

I didn't catch the program but I sure hope that Loren Coleman didn't mean to imply that theses beings are psycic/telopathic.

I agree with you Randy if this is so, this isn't good for Bigfoot or researcher's like you and me in my IMHO. I just left a yahoo group that was full of that nonsense ... yuck. :yuck: Boy oh boy, and I though I was a loony tune. IM already labeled a nut and now this garbage doesn't help that out at all. :help:

Jimmy DEFINATELY got the short end of the stick last night. Biscardi hogging all the airtime really got on my nerves, but listening to Loren and Smokey almost get into an argument over that skeleton was pretty funny.

What I don't get is if Crabtree is such an accomplished woodsman and tracker (and from everything I've heard and/or read, he is) - why can't he recognize a cat skeleton from a primate skeleton? It makes absolutely no sense.
khalid
May 5 2005, 12:59 PM
I thought Loren Coleman was very nice how he debunked the cat skeleton. Without insulting the guy, Coleman basically applauded him for finding big-cat bones where there shouldn't be any.
I quit shortly after that to get some sleep also. I was really annoyed with Coast-to-Coast fillers. Before a long commerical break, they announced "next we'll have our Bigfoot panel." When they came back they proceded to play some dumb Bigfoot song for the panel and then they went right back to another set of commercials.
No wonder truck drivers fall asleep at the wheel -- they must be bored of all the filler-material.

If you go to Coast to Coast, I think it's a pay site now (to listen). I always listen on stations I find on the internet. One of my favorite stations, which also covers Coast to Coast is KSTE out of Sacramento. They have streaming audio and you'll have no problems listening to the show on your computer. Just point your browser to

Qouting myself here.
TB stated that he had the only three hand casts of Bigfoot that are in existence. I beg to differ. I have seen a plaster hand cast that was taken on the continental divide along the Idaho/Montana border.
It looks very primate like, and is very long. The hand is slender as well as the fingers. If I can catch the fellow in this summer, I'll see if I can get a digital of the thing and post it.
I, like others, found that TB was intent on 1) hogging the show and 2) making sure everyone knew how slighted he was. If George Noory does this again I think it would be a good thing to exclude atleast one fellow.

No, he did not suggest they use telepahty. He suggested that they have the ability to get "small", blend in, probably stand very still (as someone else has suggested), I think the ninja art of being invisible was a little over the top. But he did say that he thought they have abilities to go unseen that we don't give them credit for. That's what he said in paraphrase.
