In the Hughs Co. report, the word "Honka" means "monster" in the tongue of the people of the Seminole Nation. I also enjoyed the Pittsburg Co. report, which is an area very near where the game-cam shot occured.

hi belle & researchers those are very interesting oklahoma sasquatch sightings. is the plans for bigfoot expeditions to these areas in oklahoma. just a idea i think oklahoma researchers bfro tbrc etc should do a documentary similar to bigfootville. any other other oklahoma reports footprints or sounds. thanks bill green
Garland00
So do I Bill. There seem to be enough sightings to document and I think it would be a good thing to do. Now, we have to scrape up the money to finance it....

I wonder what the significance of the wood snaping is? Is it a form of communication between animals and if it drew the attention of an animal in that close is the snapping threating to them or comforting? Anyone have any thoughts on this? smile.gif

BFRO has a trip planned this December. I've inquired about it, but I'm not too enthused about the $$$ they charge, and I'm still supplying all my camping gear, food, and transportation. I'm a pretty experienced outdoorsman, so pretty much all I would get for the money is the BFRO knowlege base and specific locations. But still, they do have the trip planned, and this early there's still plenty of slots open.

You have a point. Why do they have to charge YOU when YOU supply everthing YOU need?

Bill, so you feel the hot dry weather causes sasquatch to move around more? Curious as to your thoughts... thanks!

I asked Mr. Moneymaker (talked to him a couple times on the phone) where in OKlahoma the research team was going, but he said he couldn't give that information, probably to keep his 'secrets' just that, and to avoid any unwanted media attention during the trip. My guess would be SE part of the state, Broken Bow area, as a lot of reports have come from that area, but that's just my speculation. I myself lived in NE Tx (Paris) for many years, and it seems like a good place to go. I believe part of the show 'Bigfootville' was filmed in SE Oklahoma.

MM won't reveal the location, and yes he charges to much. Besides I firmly believe that only a few researchers will be on the trip and the rest romantics.

Bill, I missed my research this week in my secret location ph34r.gif. The wifes labor started right before I went into the field, then a few hours later stopped. mad.gif Hopefully this week I'll get to go, this time I'll remember my sound recording gear.

Hey, Bill. I haven't heard anything on the radio here in Oklahoma about Sasquatch recently. There was a guy on the radio a while back that claimed there was a Sasquatch being held captive in Oklahoma, but from what I understand, the guy's got a history of telling whoppers and the information he gave was unverifiable. Take care, Bill... biggrin.gif

Nothing in the media that I have seen or read.
But maybe it will be in some smaller town's papers or on
smaller town radio stations.
Nearly every town in the state with 1000 people has a paper.
Every town bigger than that has at least one radio station.
I know reporter Cindy Bear from the Tulsa area is interested.
And reporter Lance West from News Channel 4 in OKC has
done bigfoot stories in the past.
Guess I better keep my eyes and ears open... wink.gif
