I dont know where the name came from but i have been up into the area.

It is near the road that you take from Cave Junction Oregon to Happy Camp California.

It is extremely remote and mountianous.

Two years ago i was up in the area and got my truck stuck in the snow. I had to abandon the truck and call for a recovery vehicle the next day.
