Howdy all
You know it has been a while now that it came out about this film. Yet not even one screen shot has come out from it as far as I know. If it was real and the owner wanted some big bucks for it I feel they would have released some screen shots from it to get people really wanting to see the film big time. That way someone with the bucks would be willing to come up with the big $$$ for it.
But as no SS have been shown at all in this time it is scaring me that it is not worth it at all. And my big problem is what happens if it turns out as a blob or a out right fake ? With all of the world watching it as it is all over the news, Then it is just going it punch the Bigfoot community in the gut and make us looking like fools again in the eyes of the world.

Patterson was willing to show his film as soon as he could to as many people as he could. Even if he faked it for the money (I for one believe that it is the only real film ever taken of a Bigfoot) then he started a buzz about it from the start so that p[people with the $$$ was interested in it from the start.
This new film they are keeping the world in the dark for some reason and that really scares me that it might not be real enough to fool people who an tell fakes from real.

no, i think that if i were the one to get a film of a bigfoot, i'd proably do the exact same thing bobby clarke is doing. hold out for the big bucks. apparently everyone who HAS seen it has come away as believers, validating his sighting.

there are no rules regarding what one should do or not do.

i believe he has the real deal
and i cant wait to see it

Just waiting with baited breath for the release of that video.

Perhaps the release is not being made public because it is too good and too detailed. Just thinking out loud.

If he's waiting for the big bucks, he may be drastically limiting himself if not even a taste of it is thrown out for all to see. Perhaps someone with very deep pockets doesnt follow this game and was therefore not actively searching, but if something were to catch his eye, he would bite? Just a thought.

That is just what I am talking about.

Not sure I would consider myself scared about the results. I want it to be there but I guess like alot of us, ready for disappointment. Is it a stretch to think the whole world is waiting? I know OUR world is anxious.

I haven't seen anything on any of the major news services yet. I'll just wait and hope... but be prepared for a let down.

It IS making the cruise go quicker though. Figures all the big stuff happens when I have limited connctivity!

I am in total agreement with you on this.....
At this point, the very best still shot should be widely distributed to the Media in the hopes of attracting an interested "buyer".

Did you ever consider that some organization that doesn't want this thing to be put out before the public could buy the video? They could destroy the tape and then the world would have nothing. I hope this doesn't happen but I am sure getting dissapointed that at least something hasn't been shown. Makes me nervous.

I agree with Saskwatcher and Sachmo, if the motivation is money you would put up or shut up. Unfortunatley, it will be a dissapointment. new_grrr.gif

He'll get more money if he signs an "exclusive" contract. If he releases something before he gets a contract, that will limit his sweet moolah.

I wouldn't worry - the news articles are saying he is talking to Inside Edition, but I'm thinking Discovery Channel might want the rights, since they did that Bigfoot documentary a few years ago.

Living in a remote area, these people may have never had an attorney before, too. So I keep imagining every attorney in Manitoba calling the house to try to represent him. biggrin.gif For a piece of the pie, that is.

Meanwhile, I am enjoying the excitement, whatever happens! popcorn2.gif

Authentic or not, hard to imagine it not having a few more detailed images than the PG film.

By the by, someone needs to notify Greg Long about this film and get him ote there to check and see if Bobby was ever a rodeo cowboy.
