Maps of sightings by state. I tried to get as close to the locales as I could. Any errors are mine. The media source predomiantly used is " The bigfoot casebook" by Bord and Bord circa 1980 and prior. A few others from news clippings and other sources are thrown in.

The Florida media map, is based on John Greens map of Florida sightings. In the event an exact location was not given. I located the "dot" to the town nearest the sighting or any other determinable place mentioned in the report.

Hope these are useful to someone.

Sorry about the small scale, but Canada is a big place.

I now have about 99% of the BFRO reports mapped with DeLorme Topo USA. If you want more detailed, better looking maps, please consider buying the software. Alternatively the data is available for download in text format from my website for importing to other mapping software.

Finally, I encourage everyone to share mapping data you have collected from other sources. This effort will be a lot easier if we all cooperate. cool.gif

Some time after I wrote this it occurred to me that it could be very misleading in this context. DeLorme Topo USA does not include detailed mapping data for Canada. So you will not be able to prepare large scale maps of Canada that include road and topo data as can be done for the US. The best you can do for Canada with this softeware is to produce larger versions of the sample maps linked to here. I apologize for any confusion failure to think this through before responding may have caused.

Holy cow! No wonder Canada is being thought a hot spot!
