Sorry Ray I meant to get to your question about Floridas general topography last night if this works it should help.
Florida map II it also helps with a theory I have .if you notice about halfway down near tampa there are very few places across the breadth of the state for travel from north to south. that means in order to avoid the larger cities and towns of this region a Bf would only have certain areas.most being corridors of 50 miles or less to make his way past these. I look at it this way 50 miles is a lot less area to drive and hike than 200.

If they do try to follow coastal areas or water ways (I think it was Bipto who referred to them as Bf superhighways)then I live in a perfect area.Between here (northport) and Arcadia there are two major waterways the Peace river, and Myakka river and all of the adjascent creeks and streams. That makes it a perfect way for a Bf to move undetected through this area.IMO at least.
