Hello everyone
I'm finally going to be able to do research trips this may, I've recently met a woman near the town of joyce who is experiencing strange sounds, and is constantly having the feeling of "being hunted".. She lives in the deep woods. I'll be heading up there this coming weekend of march 13th and 14th to talk to the women about what's going on, and to look for footprints and other signs... Is there anyone around clallam or jefferson county that is interested to set up a camp up there this spring or summer? I've never done anything like this before, just to let you know.

A suggestion: consider focusing some of your efforts in and around swampy areas you might find in the area. I've felt for a long time that BF seems to like places like that. I know that both my not sure encounters in Oregon and my daughter's (a.k.a. Fluffy Puff Marshmallow here at BFF) experiences here in Washington were all near wetlands/swamps/wet areas.
Whether to avoid people or it's a good food source or something, Sas seems to be drawn to this kind of habitat, so I really think it would be a good place to spend a substantial amount of time. Such terrain is most unhospitable, of course, but it might yield you something that others may have missed.
If I may also suggest taking an inflatable raft for possible access to normally inaccessible areas, and more obviously, skeeter repellent, too.
I wish you the best, Ben!

I've been tryin to make it up there for a couple of weeks but I've been to busy lately with the cattle,, thank you for the info, Im gonna try to get in touch with some researchers up here,,, would it be a bad idea for me to do some stuff by myself until I find some people,, I dont wanna run the bigfoot off, I kinda wanna just camp out for a night and see if I have the nerves to do this stuff at all,,, I'm kinda nervous about it, but im very anxious to get up close to them. Sorry for taking so long to reply,, I flew home from arizona a couple weeks ago and Im stuck here for another month running the ranch by myself and another person,,, which isnt enough people.
Thanks,
Ben Bartlett

hiya ben b
i find that any weapon of large caliber sufficent to ease the uneasyness of being alone in them dar woods in the deep dark of night. might i recomend for tent duty a 44 mg. or even better smith and wesson,s new model 500 revolver. it sports a 50 caliber bullet of around 475grn and pushing velocities fast enough to ensure good penetration.[upwprds of 3000fps i think.] they even have this in a 4 inch barrel that is comped. this is excellent for work from within a tent. no long barrel to get caught on the walls or in sleeping bags. it would even be sufficent as a good all around large animal and light armored vehical stopper.it is the ultimate defination of a hand cannon. if all else fails you could hand it to the other guy and have him or it shoot it at you. it may just knock em out. after all it is a howeritzer with a hand grip. all kidding aside i hear and have seen that the recoil is vicious.

No but I'm planning on coming up for a visit soon. My mother still lives there. I do plan on doing some research when I'm there.

I heard last year the sheriff's department is hush on some recent activity.
Isn't the Makah Native Americans over in Clallam county?
They might some insight into Sasquatch areas as I believe they live closer to the land
than most tribes do nowadays.

I have several friends who work in the sheriffs office in the county I live in and it's very tough to get them to talk about encounters or reports of the big guy. Some will talk about it after a few beers but they are reluctant at best. Several have had encounters that they have relayed on to me but they wont openly talk about it or report it. It's one of those dont ask dont tell things. I was amazed at the encounters that have been told to me and the areas, some I have been to in the past with no idea of the activity or sighting(s).
For the most part you have a better chance at driving there car then getting a sighting report out of them.

I got a buddy from the Makah Nation. I'll see if I can get in touch with him. I'm also planning to go the Quinault and Hoh Indian reservations as we have some leads up there and a couple other small reservations in WA state.
For the past couple of years, with the help of my Arapaho brother, I've been gathering information and reports (in a very informal manner) from casual conversations with fellow Native Americans regarding sasquatch in the Pac. NW. We are planning on developing a network of resources for our research. We want to build the trust before we go public with anything. Let's face it - some of these reservations haven't changed in 200 years (besides a casino or two). There's a lot of untapped resources there. We'll keep you posted.
Peace,
Boss

Yup, heard activity around Forks. Camping area.
Hoh res? South of Cape Flaherty? Me and my friends heard a growl
while hiking in that area.
Odd, because I don't believe animals do that unless confronted.
I know we all heard it because we all turned our heads.
