Here is a link to a very interesting post from Bigfootinfo.org:

My brother and nephew and me were camping in the woods. We were just sitting around the fire. It was late at night.

At first we heard what sounded like pounding on a tree with a rock or big stick in the distance. It continued off and on for a long time. We heard a loud howl from the same area of the woods also. We know it wasn't a coyote howl or something like that. It was a high pitched screeching noise unlike any animal that lives here.
June. Warm and humid weather. We camped at a site along a dirt road in the woods. There are no houses or anything for several miles. There are few roads in the area. Deep hollows and hills for miles around.

Somebody found four-toed tracks in a field several miles west of the place this past winter.

We heard Barred Owls later but really didnt hear anything else. new_whistle.gif
