I thought this was interesting. I knew this was obviously not a Sas print. It sure resembles one though...
It's actually horse hoof tracks I believe. It was on the edge of a trail about 60ft. up from the bottom of a creek. There was another print behind it about 4ft. You could see more of the two hooves? next to each other but barely. there were no prints before these or after these.

Very interesting. Just glancing at the picture it would fool many by the looks of it. I am sure being on site anyone with much knowledge would be able to tell what it was like you did. But it is still interesting seeing that a track could be made by something else that could fool people who do not know a whole lot.

Maheekat,

Great example! You would have had me fooled if you could have had more then one in a row! I had to look close to see why it looked so much like a footprint. The direction of travel seems to be top to bottom and as the horse planted it's foot it pushed the rocks leaving a divot that looked like a big toe.
