Hi there, just curious if anyone else uses devices like the H2 and the camera built into my netbook for taking field notes as well as recording hats out there. Not quite a documentary, but I have found it to be useful.

I use a Sony micro cassette recorder to record my thoughts and findings in the field. A small camera along with the audio is a good idea, and could always be useful and referenced at a later time.

I have recently met a very dedicated person who has introduced me to a really cool home made parabolic mic that seriously works great. We have teamed up to do reaserch in NW WA. and his invention is simply invaluable.

I will direct him here if he wants to reveal what he has done.
