QUOTE HBCC Report: Sasquatch Hit By Truck - Cache Creek, British Columbia
Date: December 28, 2008 Time: 5:30 p.m. Location of Sighting: Cache Creek. Number of witnesses: 2 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: NA HBCC UFO Research Note: Well from the sounds of things there may have been a Sasquatch hit by a truck on the Highway. This "alleged" incident I hope to have more information on this if possible. Or will see if this incident is for real or what. Also I am not sure if there is an RCMP Detachment in Cache Creek. I know there is one in Ashcroft. Just so everyone understands, I am having a bit of a problem with this story myself. But I thought I would throw this out there just in case. Also since I am doing something on Sasquatch, I had a tiny report come in over another "alleged" Bigfoot sighting at mile 238 near Fort Greely. Full Description of event/sighting: So here's what I know so far. About an hour and a half ago my dad was following a pickup, just this side of Cache Creek. The pickup swerved, then dad heard a bang and the pickup stopped. Dad pulled over and got out to help not knowing what kind of animal the guy hit. The 2 of them got closer and there was this big hairy thing laying in the road, arms halfway down his legs and huge hands and feet and was walking upright before the guy hit it. It smelt really bad and was making strange noises, the guys pickup was quite damaged but still drivable. Dad helped the guy load this animal into the back of the pickup (which had a canopy) and they were taking it to the RCMP in Cache Creek to find out what the heck it is. It was still alive as it was making noises, but it was knocked out and injured. Dad has never seen anything like it before, be watching the news tonight everyone! |

So two guys just loaded this thing in the back of a pickup? Must have been awfully small...I would think that something that weighs as much as a bigfoot would require a little more muscle.
Did they happen to put it in a freezer? |

Just checked the HBCC site and that article is gone. Bummer. That could mean one of two things (among a myriad of others.) 1) It's a hoax and HBCC doesn't want to bother with it anymore, or 2) It's real, and HBCC has agreed to keep it under wraps for the time being. Bummer. |

The report says it was a big hairy thing with huge hands. I guess that means an adult BF. From what I understand, we're talking about a 400+ pound primate.
How did they get it in the truck? Doesn't sound plausible to me... |

I had a look into it at the time & have my doubts to be honest & think it's an active imagination...
If the Guy telling this story was local, then you would have thought he would have said that his Dad was taking the Animal to the RCMP in Ashcroft, not Cache Creek.. http://www.geocities.com/ashcroftrcmp/info.htm However, he may not be local or just got a little mixed up & excited with the moment.. I don't definately think, if true, that in small Town BC that this would have made the Global News Agencies immediately as it would quite simply depend on what the Guy in charge of the RCMP Force there wanted to do & whether he would want to make it public in which a lot of factors would have been taken into consioderation, especially if the Animal was still alive.. The more i think about it, the more it doesn't make sense.. Can you really imagine anyone hitting a huge Monkey with a Truck, that shouldn't even be there because no one really believes exists, then picking it up & putting it on your Truck ?? Unless BF is accepted & believed completely in some small Town's in BC, but just not publically ?? |

So two guys loaded a wounded (but awake) 400+? lb BF into a truck (I'm done right there, but let's go on), and several weeks later not one news story? Hardly.

I live in BC, but not up there.
But I haven't heard anything in the news here. Not that I'm much of a news hound anyway. That would have been noticable though. Probably someone having fun on the net. BB |

There is a story that is public that a man had hit something huge but it ran off into the woods and after the police arrive at the seine with a blood hound there was a chase into the woods until the hounds LOST the trail. The story tells that the officers in pursuit could hear something ahead in the bush. the story takes place in Florida
