I'd still like to know just what makes them say this is SO DIFFERENT from what folks are expecting? Looks like a gorilla costume to me??
Like I said didn't they say it looked more human? |

Well if Biscardi is behind a scheme, he will have to change career. He makes a living with bigfoot, remember. Never bite the payroll! (I changed the popular saying to be politically correct,,.) And while he is shady this is a reason I am not quick to write this off as a hoax, he would be dead in this field if this turns out to be a hoax- I mean I can't think of one thing he could possibly gain from a hoax THIS big. wiiawiwb: "Biscardi will appear tomorrow morning at 10:45am ET on FoxNews. Where's Bill Munns ????????????? Car 54 where are you? " Just saw the photo. The face is a nice primate type face, indeed. Bottom line, a still photo even that clear isn't proof of fake or real, because absolute realism can be achieved in a static figure (one not moving, or not worn by a human). It's the motion that trips up the fakes, and seperates the "men from the boys" (or the cryptids from the fakes) So we'll just have to see how this plays out, with the tissue tests. Bill Bill, I went to your website and it is very nicely done and quite impressive. Wiia |

RED FLAG WARNING!
Whether or not they have a body, they appear to have thrown some other animal's guts into it the cooler. I'm fairly certain (based on dozens of autopsies of very real and very dead apes at lots of different stages of decay, and hundreds of other animals) that those are not the guts (theoretically the small intestines though these look like large intestines of some smallish herbivore) of a 500 pound plus animal that's been dead for over a week (or any more than probably 12 hours). Even if it's intestines were that small (which they probably wouldn't be) they would be closer to purplish-black in color (because of normal decay) unless they immediately deep froze the entire animal (to the core) within hours of death and then just unfroze them. That didn't happen right? So those are not it's guts. Even if they found it totally fresh (unlikely) and immediately tossed it into a standard freezer, it would take many hours for the core to cool and in the meantime the normal enzymes and bacteria would go work breaking the intestines down. They do claim to have found this dead in GA, in Aug, and have spent hours hauling it out of the woods, right? So why throw some other animals guts in? A: To make it look real. And why try to make it look real? A: Because it isn't? There are also some apparent anatomical problems with the head and other things, but I won't sit here and ruin any credibility I might have by pretending to know what an uncatalogued animal will look like. It also looks awfully cramped for a 7'7" animal in a 10 foot cooler (that's the story right?). This story didn't pass the smell test and it looks to me like this photo doesn't either. But Biscardi must have something up his sleeve. If he is really going to follow through with this, then the fun is just starting but I suggest we all prepare for disappointment. But you've go to ask yourself, why call a presser to show "DNA and photo evidence" when you supposedly have an actual body? I'm guessing Biscardi is clever enough to use the spotlight to shine on himself and let the GA guys look stupid. Apeman PS- Can anyone figure out where the bottom of the cooler is? It seems to have no mass to it's chest? Suit in the bottom of a cooler with some sheep intestines thrown in? |

For kicks I went over to the BFRO forum, I understand about being skeptical about this all like I and many of you are here, but they seem to be going out of their way to discredit this thing, it almost like they rather it not be true. I'm lost at words over their behavior. COULD IT BE, one mr MM isn't the one standing to profit? |

Who knows? They may have the real deal. It's not written down anywhere that the ones responsible for stumbling across a bigfoot corpse could not be semi-literate abrasive jackasses. The WHAT is the important thing, not the WHO. You are quite correct, it could be very well be Stump-jumpin' Jethro who finds a body or shoots one dead leaving legitimate researchers or people of integrity in the dust. This whole Georgia body situation and the people behind it has become a nightmare of sorts, it's working to tear the very fabric that holds the bigfoot community together and that, in a word, is reprehensible. United we stand, divided we fall. If the people in Georgia are trying to divide, they are absolutely sick individuals in my mind. |

I have always understood "grays" to mean the occupants of UFOs. yes that's true, you mean the EBE (extraterrestrial biological entity) as the US Air Force calls it. I was quoting someone from Georgia herein who was referring to the bigfoot. Let's stick to this wonderful name, the bigfoot (yaak). Homo americanus magnapoda in latin. |

Biscardi and the Georgia boys will be made for life with adventure trek business if this is real.
If proven to be a hoax, yes, they will be dead in the water re: tours/expeditions. I am a believer in the animal, having discovered a trackway in Colorado a few years ago, it does not look as I expect which is certainly influenced by Patty, but the photo is compelling although as I said, it strikes me as real and fake at the same time. The pelt does not appear to match the fur/hair on the head Biscardi's involvement is most unfortunate given his history, but like others (Paul Freeman, Wallace, etc.) there may a real experience somewhere in there. I am cautiously optimistic to see what happens tomorrow and the rest of the week. |

We have to realize that it is the discovery of the last two centuries for anthropology and paleontology if it is real. At last we would change era, from a laughing stock for journalists to real research. And then we will really progress if scientists get in the bangwagon. And they will need field researchers to help them out with the behavioural aspects of the beast, to catch one alive. More job creation. Get a solid cage, though. |

Yes you just made some extremely valid points about the guts apeman. I am worse than scott herriot and the patterson film when it comes down to percentage of probability, one minute I am 80% convinced and the next minute after a great post like apemans I am 20% convinced lol.

Here's some information I posted on the Cryptomundo thread a few hours ago. (Note--although I believe there is a 10% chance this thing is real, I wouldn't bet Yes at odds of 25% or higher, at this point. What impresses me is my feeling that Coleman, Kulls & Biscardi wouldn't be taking this so seriously without DNA evidence, or other impressive evidence, that they haven't revealed yet. OTOH, I don't like the look of the Georgia Gorilla's hair--it's not primate-like enough.)
=============== There is a website called Hubdub where you can bet (with play money) on the question, “Will the existence of Bigfoot be confirmed by science in 2008?” (The question-poser is “Loren,” but not our Loren.) I’ve just bet heavily on Yes, at odds of better than 10-to-1. You might like to got there and put down bets, pro and con. The home page of the site, where you go to register and collect your $2000 play money grubstake, is here: http://www.hubdub.com/ The thread dealing with the Bigfoot question is here: http://www.hubdub.com/m9109/Will_the_exist...science_in_2008 There is also a thread where you can bet on the reality of the recent Yeti-hair, here: http://www.hubdub.com/m12428/Will_the_Yeti..._out_to_be_real In addition, the site has about 2000 current-events questions you can bet on. It’s lots of fun. |

This is starting to feel like that episode of Seinfeld where George tells Susan's parents he has a place in the Hamptons, and they make him drive all the way out to the end of the island at which point he finally confesses there is no house.

I am worse than scott herriot and the patterson film when it comes down to percentage of probability, one minute I am 80% convinced and the next minute after a great post like apemans I am 20% convinced lol. Yes good post apeman. Lots of questions... It looks all cramped in the freezer, but why the cheap foam in the freezer? (perhaps cheap foam and freezer used in the woods with some ice just to carry it out of the woods?). Which would mean the picture was taken as soon as they arrived at destination prior to freezing the body for real. The argument of the chest size and proportions, as well as the guts, these are good questions. Is it a young animal, assuming it is a real one? Seven feet seven, nice teeth, just over 500 pounds. The Georgian bigfoot are smaller than in the west, aren't they? Does it fit the usual profile of a young adult in Georgia? Almost slim? What about the teeth and tongue? No mask have those. Regarding the body, again what are they doing with it? Are we going to see it soon? If not frozen now, it must desintegrate each day quite quickly. And I cannot imagine what the smell would be like in the house where it would be kept... This post has been edited by Squatch_bait: Aug 12 2008, 09:52 PM |

Apeman totally killed my buzz. What he says makes sense. These guys are taking this to the wall, and if it's a hoax they're taking down Biscardi and maybe even Coleman with them...and a guy who loves to run for Congress (the "PR" guy--Mr. song writer/grave stone inventor/sculptor/writer).
I just can't see a reason to take it to this length this quickly if profit is their end goal. It's all or nothing for these guys now, unless they have a surprising twist in the story real soon. I just can't imagine bringing it this far without having something very, very convincing. |

I agree with Apeman's opinion on the guts. Those "intestines" do not look like they are from that creature. Maybe this is the clincher that will make the Georgia boys "spill their guts"

If I remember correctly, they claim to have found it sometime in June. I believe they said around June 10 on an interview. Just for giggles, here is weather history for Helen, Georgia during the possible week in question. June 8, 2008 High Temp: 95F Low Temp: 72F Average Temp: 84.5F Dewpoint: 64.9F Wind Speed: 3.3 Knots Precipitation Amount: 0 Inches Snow Depth: n/a Observations: n/a June 9, 2008 High Temp: 97F Low Temp: 73F Average Temp: 85F Dewpoint: 63.7F Wind Speed: 2.3 Knots Precipitation Amount: 0 Inches Snow Depth: n/a Observations: n/a June 10, 2008 High Temp: 91.4F Low Temp: 71.6F Average Temp: 81.8F Dewpoint: 63.2F Wind Speed: 6.2 Knots Precipitation Amount: 0 Inches Snow Depth: n/a Observations: n/a June 11, 2008 High Temp: 91.4F Low Temp: 71.6F Average Temp: 80.8F Dewpoint: 63.9F Wind Speed: 5.1 Knots Precipitation Amount: 0 Inches Snow Depth: n/a Observations: n/a June 12, 2008 High Temp: 86F Low Temp: 66.2F Average Temp: 75.6F Dewpoint: 64.2F Wind Speed: 7.3 Knots Precipitation Amount: 0.54 Inches Snow Depth: n/a Observations: Rain/Drizzle, Thunder I have a problem with the condition of the body, the heat and their estimation that it appeared to have been dead for two days? and it took them another day and a half to drag the body out of the woods? If this thing is verified, I don't necessarily believe that it was found deceased, if you catch my drift. Also, in a human, that tongue would be about the size of a large cigar -if not bigger, under those circumstances. |
