The creature was found by Matthew Whitton (AKA Gary Parker) and Rick Dyer (residents of Georgia) in the woods in northern Georgia. (The exact location is being kept secret to protect the creatures.)
What's with the alias? |

For those just joining the broadcast, here's Crow Logic's find (via Parcher at JREF Forums, big kudos for his find) overlaid by myself, and compiled by Reverend Strone that's probably buried by 16 gigs of forum traffic by now:

I hope that they do.
But I interviewed Tom Biscardi 18 months ago for a book I'm working on. And he predicted a find soon. I've posted what he said up on my blog. http://www.schlockaroundtheclock.com/ This post has been edited by SchlockAroundTheClock: Aug 13 2008, 06:43 PM |

Yeah, the company that sells that, needs to rename that costume the Georgia Bigfoot, in order to muscle in on these guys' jig.

I haven't been able to locate it, but someone told me that after dismissing these guys, Blogsquatcher also alluded to some 'inside' information that turned his opinion around for GA body but now he is backtracking. Can anyone confirm this? I'm just hearing this second hand. I don't have time to locate it now but I did read the blogsquatcher yesterday and I pretty much read what you are talking about- impressive undisclosed inside information and then an hour or so later they were leaning back the other way. |

There are two primary elements to this circus that lend weight to the hoax camp.
1) Multiple contradictions and lies by the principals of this event, and 2) If you found a real body, and you wanted scientific validation, it only stands to reason that you would take it to a University (Hell, I'll even settle for a community college!) or a well known scientist who is vocal in this field (It isn't hard to find them - a simple google search would reveal the names of Bindernagel and Meldrum). But, if you wanted something else, say, an unfounded endorsement of someone who knows how to further shoddy claims, then you would call Biscardi, which is exactly what they did. Nothing would make me happier than to be wrong (well - maybe $10,000,000 might make me happier) but given what I have seen thus far, I'm pretty sure I am right. C |

In honor of this all I broke out my VHS player and started watching what started it all Secret of the Unknowns starring Edward Mulhare. Schlocky as hell, but I was a kid and watched it over and over again till the tape broke and years later I got a copy on ebay.

Why is it illegal for him to do that again? I must have missed that, why would it be against the law to tell people what you do for a living or to say you were injured doing it? In Georgia law it was pointed out that a police officer cannot publicly identify themselves as anything but a private civilian over the internet. I assume, knowing quite a number of police officers both local and RCMP, this is for their protection and the protection of others - if it were legal, someone could easily impersonate a police officer and take advantage of others, whether it be getting passwords to accounts, etc. It makes sense the more I think about it because if it is illegal for a police officer to identify themselves on the internet as police officers then any civilian knows that if someone says they are the police and wants information, etc. this person would know that it wasn't an actual officer. |

LOL I am still curious as to how this thing will play out, given that they have this press thing planned, and still hold to their story, even though I think its all but been deflated in the minds of most everyone. I bet when the Georgia boys saw that their exact costume had been found by someone merely sitting behind their keyboard, without ever having to even get up, they must have let out a DOH! that would make Homer Simpson jealous. |

finally got on the cryptomundo site, and was disappointed to see Loren flip-flop yet again. Now he's extremely skeptical, and says the reason for the "it's the real deal folks!" (not a quote, but the general tone he was putting forth) was to 'play along' with the bad guys. To me, that's sad - I realize he needs to earn $$$ to fight his IRS battle, and getting millions of hits (and potential book buyers) would go a long way towards that. But at what price to ones integrity? I'll stick to this forum and anomalist.com for my information from now on. Can we all spell C Y A |

First, I don't think this is as big of a story as you say "we" do. Second, it obviously is pretty big because this and about 4 other bigfoot websites have had a hard time staying up today. No, not that big of a story, but pretty big nonetheless. I just checked at Google Trends and 17 of the top 100 searches were bigfoot related, including three of the top ten. I think it showed six of the top twenty earlier this afternoon. I'd say that's significant. |

![]() OK, well this is the first opportunity I've had to see their photo - thanks. So, how heavy did they say their bigfoot carcass was? And how wide is the freezer? So how on earth do they expect us to believe that the shoulders of a ___lb bigfoot could fit in that freezer? It looks like the length of the head almost fills the width of the freezer - where the heck are its shoulders?? Somebody please double check my feeble geometry here, but even a relatively skinny bigfoot at 8' tall, 3' wide, and 1' thick occupies 24 cubic feet. (Right?) So, what's the capacity of the freezer? If it's close to 24 cubic feet, then wouldn't the bigfoot corpse pretty much have to have been rendered into a rectangular block to be able to close the lid on the freezer? |

I really don't know anymore that has already been posted on Cryptomundo or here. The only photos I have seen are what has been posted. I do not think, or know, that Loren has seen any additional photos. Cryptomundo is crashing constantly. As soon as we get it back up, it crashes again. My thoughts are that the photo of the corps in the freezer are very similar to the Sasquatch costume that it has been compared to. Perhaps it is just a prop, and the real body will be shown in photos Friday? When Dyer was interviewed on the SquatchDetective show, he said that the when the first photos were released, everyone would think they were fake. Hmmm, something else to think about... Craig, do you know what the impressive inside information was that had Loren almost convinced? Is that information ever going to appear or is it going to vanish along with the body to avoid embarrassment? I understand if you are not at liberty to say but enquiring minds are going to be wanting to know. Here is the quote that Loren Coleman made on August 12: I feel, in all honesty, this, indeed, may be the real deal, and I say this carefully after reviewing information that has been shared privately with me. I cannot say more yet. But people will be very surprised. Is the lame photo that was leaked what was supposed to be surprising us or is there more? |

According to the Sears website, the biggest chest freezer they carry is 24.9 cubic feet. Dimensions, which I believe are the external dimensions, not internal are
Length: 73 1/4 inches Depth (Front to Back): 29 1/2 inches Height: 35 inches Reported Height was 7 feet 8 inches I believe and freezer is 6 feet 1 1/4 inches or about 18 3/4 inches shorter than he is allegedly tall. Does it look like his head is 18 3/4 inches long with a bit over 10 inches of space left in the width? Anyone know what the actual measurements are of the mask being referred to? |
