Hi, Over the years I have seen some beds, but not the teepee type, That would be to easy for us to find and there not that dumb, They dont want to leave any evidence like that, Here is one pic I took of a bed up in the mountains, and there was a few more the same in other valleys.[attachment=25196:randy_023.jpg] Can you positively rule out it being a deer or bear bed? |

Trees fall down and make tee-pee shapes. I see them all over the place. Unless you find something else to indicate a large animal used it for shelter, you're looking at a mundane natural phenomenon. Me too, and there definitely isn't a bigfoot in the forest near where I live! Funny how some researchers keep ignoring the fact that teepees and 'x' formations are also found in forests where there is no possibility of bigfoot activity? |

Don't ruin it, Paul. Isn't more fun to think you've found a bigfoot teepee?
New question. Did the bigfoot teach the Native Americans to build teepees or vice versa? |

That doesn't sound right - was there bigfoot scat? If not, then then you should look at ruling it out in the same way you rule out bear or deer due to lack of scat. |

Why would you rule it out, I dont know of any human or animal that craps were it sleeps, most go aways away from it and Im sure bf does not want more stink around his bed, he is bad enough already, They might crap a mile away who knows, and also they bury it, There not going to leave a pile of it so we can come and get it. There not dumb like a deer and crap all over the bush so you can follow them.

Why rule it out? Because you can't have double standards. You said this "I would rule out deer and bear, because there was no sign of there tracks or scat anywere around". So, if you have ruled out bear and deer on the basis of no scat, then you should do the same for bigfoot.
In other words, you are ruling *in* bigfoot solely on the basis of tracks, so why mention scat at all? You also said this: "and also they bury it" how do you know this? |

I dont think I would rule out bigfoot because there is no crap around, If there is 16 inch tracks there, thats good enough for me, also you mentioned big foot scat not me, I said no deer or bear scat around. Anyway how do I know they bury there scat, trust me I know, there not going to eat it or put it in trees, They also crap in fast running streams so it dissapears, if they didnt do this with 5 or 6 thousand supposed bigfoot running around out there, Im sure there would be piles of it out there to get. Thats why there always around rivers and streams.

Do you really expect anyone to accept this 'fact' just because you tell them to trust you? Really? QUOTE I said no deer or bear scat around. Yes, and you ruled them out because of it, but don't apply the same rule to bigfoot. You explain the nest because of print(s) only - just how close were the tracks to the "nest"? Was it a track or a print? If a track, then how many prints? Photos? Casts? |

HikerII:
QUOTE Maby you will learn somthing new about bigfoot, if you pay attention and can read I've been paying attention to this thread since the first post and I have been reading about sasquatch for(like most here) years......most everything gets recycled, but occasionally you find something new. Unfortunately, I haven't found that in this thread. Typically that happens when someone makes a statement such as the one above. Unfortunately again, those promises fall short. I don't claim to be a know all guru of squatchdom but I have picked up a few things over the years and all of it deals more with humans than squatch. QUOTE I said 16 inch tracks not prints, Can you elaborate on the difference between "tracks" and "Prints"? I can. QUOTE You never heard of bigfoot crapping in rivers, were have you been, You seem to always try a twist things around on these forums I can't say that I have. I know hippos do. I know fish do. I know other critters do, but I can't say a sasquatch does. In the grand scheme of things, I cannot fathom an animal supposedly smart enough to hide it's own footprints, defecating in it's drinking supply...but I'm human...I always thought creeks and waterways were drinking sources, possible hunting areas and even highways through dense growth areas. QUOTE You seem to always try a twist things around on these forums People usually claim that when they are getting asked questions here. QUOTE Like I said before on my Sighting, I have alot more that I have not said, or shown on here, Aaa yeah....people say that alot here also. Why not say everything? Let it all hang out instead of trying to give it to us in piecemeal? This never makes sense to me. "Hey! I got a sighting! I'm only going to tell you bits and pieces of it though! Not all of it at once. You can't handle all of it once! If you get rowdy I'll dangle out other bits and tempt you until you calm down." Sorry, but I hate that and to me it detracts from the account. QUOTE I have already put pics, and pics of tracks, on these forums, more than most do. most just talk and thats all they do Once again see above. Also, how do you know what most people do an this forum or have done? Could be that alot of the people who you think do the least or just flap their gums, have actually done a good bit. QUOTE And yes I have more pics of tracks in and around those beds, or I would not have mentioned it to begin with, You guys went from beds to poop, Whats next how bigfoot trims his nails in his bed, Some people know alot more about BF than there saying on here, And I am not the only one. As Paul Harvey says.."And now the rest of the story." You brough up the scat thing: QUOTE I would rule out deer and bear, because there was no sign of there tracks or scat anywere around, I found big 16 inch tracks by two other beds like this. Paul asked you: QUOTE That doesn't sound right - was there bigfoot scat? If not, then then you should look at ruling it out in the same way you rule out bear or deer due to lack of scat. That seems a reasonable statement. Why not rule it out? Oh... the prints/tracks. Are you sure they are prints/tracks of a sasquatch? If this is the case then you need to be contacting some people with some nice degrees on their walls to look at them. That would be a good find! What about tracks of other animals? Why wouldn't you rule out other animals on the lack of tracks instead of lack of scat? QUOTE I dont think I would rule out bigfoot because there is no crap around, If there is 16 inch tracks there, thats good enough for me, also you mentioned big foot scat not me, I said no deer or bear scat around. You ruled out other animals.....once again, are they bigfoot prints? Do you know how long a pile of scat would last out in the woods? It is going to depend on a number of factors, but over all, not a long length of time. Especially, if there is food remenants present. Those pesky little things called insects like stuff like that. 5-6 thousand??? We cannot prove one, so why throw out population numbers? Reminds me of a bad joke...A big sasquatch and a little white rabbit was headed to the bathroom in the woods. The big sasquatch said; "Hey little white rabbit, does crap stick to your fur?" The little white rabbit replied, " I don't think so, why?" The sasquatch answered, " No reason..you mind coming down to the creek with me?".......... Oooo, I know. It's terrible. Hi, I didnt come on here to put anyone down or talk about them, I came on to put the pic of a bigfoot bed and talk about beds, not talk about me, I tell the truth and I take bigfoot serious, also you said you didnt find anything new on this thread, Well you said you didnt know about bigfoot crapping in rivers, That sounds like something new, anyway the tracks are 16 in bigfoot tracks, and they went for along ways up the mountain side, with the big toe digging in the steep side for a better grip, I found a few of those beds with big tracks around them, I was hoping someone else would talk about the beds and what they thought of the bed, has anyone found more beds like this up in the mountains.

There You remind me of that episode of Seinfeld, where Jerry advises George to always leave them wanting more. That seems to be the main theme of people who claim to have had an encounter that no one believes. Always leave'm wanting more. (bolding is mine) Nothing personal Hiker, but we've all heard these claims a 100 times before. And as Mike says, they never quite seem to pan out. If you did have an encounter, great, give us the facts, and facts only. And you might find people find your sighting credible. |

So how many individual prints in this track? One track or more? Over what distance was the track? What was the stride? Were they all uphill, or were some on the flat? If there were some on the flat, then what was the difference in size? They couldn't all be exactly the same size, since when walking or running uphill there is always a certain amount of skidding. How close exactly to the "nests" were these tracks - if they were all 16", that would suggest one creature, so why more than one bed? And once again, what evidence do you have that bigfoot either buries scat or flushes it down a river? And I mean evidence, not your word, but evidence - otherwise, it is speculation, nothing more. Speculation is NOT the same as evidence. |

Some of those logs look like they were cut with a saw a long time ago. Maybe they have saws? Or maybe they found them on the ground, you find them all the time around here. I'm still not convinced about the nests. I see similar 'structures' in the woods all the time that I just thought were natural. I'm sorry that I missed this until now! Yes, some of the branches had been cut with saws...but if you'll note from the article, I discussed that the landowner had done the work and placed the cut branches into a pile. Whomever built the nest pulled the limbs from the pile. Being an archaeologist, I can assure you that this formation could not be natural. The branches are woven into each other in a neat orderly way (not just jumbled sticks). I am making no claims on who constructed it, but someone did. |

But we aren't talking about 'beds', since there is no evidence as to what made these alleged beds (assuming that is what they are).
You are avoiding the question - what evidence do you have that bigfoot buries its scat or uses rivers and streams to poop? You claim you know it for a fact, so you must therefore have some concrete proof - I'd like to know what it is. What do they use to bury the scat? Come on Hiker - you made this claim, please don't try to change the subject. If you don't have evidence, then just say so and put me out of my misery. |

Hi paul, thanks for making me laugh finally, With that put me out of my misery, I know what you mean, I never said I had evidence, I said trust me I know, I know this because I saw one taking a crap in the river, I thought it was a bear untill it walked away on two legs, I also talked to a old guy in the bush one day and we started talking about Sasquatch, he said back in 1966 up by pitt river he saw one bury its crap, by digging a hole about 1 ft deep and then covered it with twigs, He never told anyone untill later on in his life, I never reported the crapping in the river sighting, only the one last year of the big grey one. I have had 2 more sightings after that one last year, and after that scary growl I will never go back in there again.

I'm confused....the thread titile is about teepee structures, buts beds were mentioned earlier in the thread in a post by Yowie, but was really taken off the topic HERE!(post #33) and I'll quote: QUOTE Hi, Over the years I have seen some beds, but not the teepee type So the thread was never really about beds but evolved to that point. As far as the track thing...guess who brought that up and made it part of the conversation |

I've been watching this thread and I'm quite interested in these teepee structures.
How the hell is anything going to be protected by these teepees, they are merely a few sticks that have fallen together, big deal, shoulodn't they have aroof or something similar to protect the dwellers. AS for the beds that have been mentioned, these are nothing like we have in Oz |

mike2k1, give it a break its not a soap opera, I mentioned beds because I said over the years I have not see the teepee type, thats why there is a pic of a bed and not the teepee type, I mentioned tracks because they are in and around the bed, and to also rule out deer or bear, Some people link the teepee type and beds together, or maby a giant mouse with 16 inch feet is playing a joke on me. Yowiie and Hairy man, were trying to keep it on topic, but you guys twist it all around.

I didn't realize the topic of this thread was belligerence and evasiveness in the face of questioning. I guess I should reread the thread title. But ain't that always the case with stuff like this BM? You question someone and thats where it ends up. Hiker11 QUOTE mike2k1, give it a break its not a soap opera, Nope...I'm not giving it a break. You are presenting something with out proof.... For example: QUOTE Hi, Over the years I have seen some beds, but not the teepee type, That would be to easy for us to find and there not that dumb, They dont want to leave any evidence like that, Here is one pic I took of a bed up in the mountains, and there was a few more the same in other valleys. 1: Once again how do you know these are sasquatch beds? 2: How do you know they hide their beds so they do not leave evidence? QUOTE I would rule out deer and bear, because there was no sign of there tracks or scat anywere around, I found big 16 inch tracks by two other beds like this. 1: You said you would rule out deer or bear because of lack of trace evidence, like tracks or scat, but you found two similiar areas like this with big 16 inch tracks; so there is trace evidence like photo's or track cast you can provide to show that it was indeed a sasquatch frequenting these "bedding areas. 2: You did mention scat as one of the determining factors in ruling out deer and bear. The simple explanation you could have given Paul when he questioned you about the lack of scat as a determining factor is that it was the lack of tracks or a print that was more the determing factor than the lack of scat, but you chose to argue with him on just that one thing. Then you go off on more of a tangent with assumptions like burying their feces and even defecating in running streams. Dude....nobody twisted this up more than you. One simple explanation could have sufficed but you got all evasive. You throw out all these assumptions I pointed out and understand...someone is going to question you. For that fact, understand this also...we don't question you to prove you wrong, we question you to get a better understanding of what information you are providing and how you have arrived at those statements you are throwing out(burying scat, beds, tracks, ect). If BS is exposed from the questioning(and I'm not saying yours is), then so be it...won't be the first time and won't be the last. Just don't expect everyone on this forum to swallow what is being spooned out without questioning and asking for some reasonable explanations on things that they don't understand. If you feel it should be any different.....sorry. You won't get any quarter. With extraordinary claims, the burden of proof lies in the evidence the claimant provides. Without evidence it is just a story. |

Hi, My family and friends are over for dinner and were all laughing, and getting dizzy too, We cant belive how this thread has turned out, What proof or evidence are you talking about, I put a pic of a bigfoot bed on here with tracks all around it, and dont know what other kind of bed it could be with no other animal tracks in or around it, Under my sighting, I put pics of tracks, and sasquatch, and that is some proof even if you dont belive it is, Now you want more pics and cast of the tracks, of course I have more pics, even if I had a cast you would say its a fake, Im not going to put any more pics on here it goes nowere, I dont care what you think or belive, you should read what I said slowly so you uderstand it, Like my friends said you cant belive I have seen sasquatch, and seen tracks, or anything else to do with them, because its not you seeing it.
