Hard to say. Kind of interesting though, the size of whatever it is. I'd like to see the video lightened up and slowed down.

As blobideos go, I like it. It's a hell of a lot better than the Canadian one that he got paid several hundred grand for (allegedly).
At least you can see the hair on this thing. How funny that a night video shows the most fur detail i've seen in a vid before...is that because the camera doesn't have the light to have to decide on what item to focus on? It kind of lumbers away too, like a gorilla. |

What bothers me is why would somebody who thought he caught a real Bigfoot on video post it on Youtube with no explanation of the circumstances surrounding it. I say hoax.

Here's what I was thinking when I said probable fake. I thought the exact same thing, mspstomper. Same word came to mind- lumbering. But that made me think it was more likely to be a person stumbling along. The one I saw moved easily, smoothly, fluidly in it's walk. Many reports say the same. That snow isn't at all deep and shouldn't slow down a bf. Just speculating here, of course. Also, unless that is two parallel trackways, the tracks clearly are side to side, left, right, left, right. The possible set of snowtracks I found showed what I have seen in others and what might be a definitive characteristic of a bf stride, and that is tracks that are much closer to, or almost in, a straight line. If that is a correct characteristic, of course. But I might be wrong.

If a hoax, why add the part of picking up a smaller one between the legs like a human youngster? Very interesting! Hate Flash though!

there is a second smaller creature in the video. you can see the prints he is making in the snow to the outside of the big creature just near the end. i guess the whiteness or the snow reflecting in the light makes the little ones cast off reflect light.
i think it is very interesting that you can see the foot prints of the little one appear in the snow as he walks. it is because of his dark color hides him but the reflection and shadow of the prints make them seem to appear as he walks away. so you gotta wonder why a hoaxer would have a kid in a bigfoot suit also. is it a hoax? hmmm inconclusive but interesting. as far a blobsquatches go this one seems to be in plural. is that blobsquatchi? It's difficult to make out. It appears to me to be a bear...hunched backed, on all fours. Can't really see much of the little one... What am I missing that indicates that it might be a bigfoot? (This is a sincere question. I don't mean to be inflammatory).
Is it true that bears, when they walk, step in their own previous footprints, as a rule? In other words, the hind feet track in the front foot prints, leaving an overlapped footprint? |

The (Alleged) bigfoot is bent over picking up the smaller (alleged) creature, watch between the bigger ones legs and you'll see what appears to be the little ones legs and feet clear the snow while being picked up. It looks like this video was shot through the windshield of someone's car, watching the bottom right of the frame it shows I THINK a windshield wiper a couple of times.
It is food for thought, but too little info to base any kind of opinion. I do agree that it's a little better than most blobsquatches, but not by much. |

I still can't make out what is going on initially, though. |

Hmmm...I didn't catch that possible picking up part on first viewing. You may be right DDA. That could be two trackways then?
Or could that be a bear's tracks? Hmmm... |

I think it's a bear that just crossed the road..and the mama bear is helping the baby bear get up the small embankment coming out of the ditch.

Ugg....now I'm not sure what I see! Why can't someone just film these things in the day time with nothing obstructing the subject and at a distance of 20 feet! With the lens cap on???
Been "lurking" for a while so I am glad to maybe join in on a few discussions! I'm from Olympia Wa but I can't seem to update my info on my BFF page...it errors out! Peace, Tom |

I don't know..... anybody have any thoughts on what appears to be a left arm swinging just b4 it goes out of range.... it looks a little low below the "waist" ... my first impression was of a human wearing those dang "fuzzy boots" ( which are real hair BTW) Anybody find out anything about context, why they started to film the shrub on the side of the road??????

I'm sorry but I must have a really good monitor or something. I clearly see it begin to stand up, clearly see a butt crack when it pulls something up from under its legs, and then I see it stand all the way up and walk away, on two legs, head, two arms with a swing. All the parts are there... my first question is why is it so short? At least it appears to be rather short and squat. Scale is hard to determine with no info.

Ok, OKBFFan, just for S&G, what size monitor are you using? Flat or LCD by any chance? Mine is 13" flat nothing special... SK |

I've looked at it about 50 times and I believe it to be a bear. When you look at it full screen looks like a bear's hindquarter. Cool video.

The monitor is a 21" flat. Video card is awesome. I can see things in my photos that I have NEVER seen before. Edited to add that I see this thing stand up and bend down like 3 times, and when it stands fully erect, I see a head and two arms clearly. The head is in shadow, but I can easily see the back of a head and two arms. This post has been edited by OKBFFan: Mar 20 2006, 09:01 AM |

IMO, it's a bear. When the video first starts, the bear is standing on it's hind legs, then drops to all 4s. Looks like it has a cub, or maybe even something like a deer carcass or some other type of food that it picks up in it's mouth and lumbers away on all 4s. I see what looks like a pretty good view of the left side of the bears head when it veers left before going into the dark area.
My .02, but it is a very cool video. |

I can also see its arms bend at the elbows as its walking away.
Dont get me wrong... I am not saying its a BF. My first impression was a lady in a fur coat, but I have never seen a fur coat with legs? I had an old goat skin coat that was falling apart when I was a kid.. was from my grandmother. I used to wear it when I walked the dog because it was incredibly warm, and it hung to my ankles. It literally fell apart from age. If I could take a screen shot from this or something, I would draw some red lines for you lol, but its in flash and I dont know how to manipulate that. [/quote] Given the visual info from your equipment since we have no info for context for the vid, I am leaning toward a great big..... MAYBE :icon_mrgreen: I so far do not have enough info to form a solid opinion, but have nothing that says .... no way possible. The fact that there is so little background and context on this makes it one of those things that makes you say...... :new_hmmsmiley02: hmmmmm? also let me say.... I am soooooo jealous of your equipment! oooo, that sounded a little bad!!!!! This post has been edited by Snow Kitty: Mar 20 2006, 09:08 AM |
