This is interesting as I've read this story before...the original newspaper article of "I saw Sasquatch impress his mate with my fire" tale...

Alrighty then...found some more. This first one is obviously not Sasquatch related, but I thought it was a good story showing some behavior...'course it could be fiction!

Lots of interesting newspaper reports going back well over 100 years.
Still, I suppose, the intellectually gifted among humanity can explain it all away easily. |

QUOTE(Huntster @ Aug 24 2004, 03:04 PM) Lots of interesting newspaper reports going back well over 100 years. Still, I suppose, the intellectually gifted among humanity can explain it all away easily. I'm not claiming to be "intellectually gifted," but I can explain it away easily! "Sasquatch is out there...they're REAL! And people really do just see what they say." Just my 2¢ tirademan |

When I first found this one, I wasn't sure...it could be just a giant man, but some of the desciptions are interesting...like "unearthly yell," tremendous shoulders," "bunched up" muscles. Also, hundreds of natives came to see the body and they do mention "huge tracks like those of a gorilla." Another body but no conclusion...
I've started to compile all of these finds into a (hopefully) downloadable and printable PDF! tirademan

No problem BFD!
Here's a few more...I ponied up the cash for some NYTimes finds. Obviously, some of these are embellished and/or second hand...one article even starts off by dismissing "Wild Men of the woods" tales as created fiction during boring news spells! tirademan
