I tyried, so bare withme please.
So whats with the photo he supposedly took while being chased out of the Three Sisters Wilderness are in Oregon by two large hairy ape like creatures? I just read the story and seen the picture in Elwood D. Bauman's book.
Maybe someone can tell me if it was provin a hoax or is this one still up in the air?

After some deliberation, we decided to re-open discussion of the MRP. Rather than continue with what had turned into a horror story of a thread, I thought it best if a new thread was started.

The original thread can be found here http://www.bigfootforums.com/index.php?showtopic=27047

The moderators of this forum have been accused of being in cahoots with the people involved in the MRP - I want to make it perfectly clear that the the original thread was NOT closed at the request of anyone involved in the MRP, but because the thread was getting out of hand, people were being harassed, and private messages were being reposted on other forums - lets hope this thread fairs better.

Please keep this thread civil, or I will have no alternative but to close it permantly.

I have two warnings before we get started: 1) Anyone found reposting posts from this thread or PMs on other forums again will be suspended or banned. 2) Anyone posting personal information to this thread (including names of individuals) or other forums will be banned immediately. If you have to identify people and they don't have a BFF username, use initials instead please.

I'm sure I'm asking for trouble restarting this conversation - please prove me wrong and have a sensible, adult conversation.

Homo Erectus

I have seen alot of people say that bigfoot might be a gigantopithicus, but, could bigfoot maybe be a form of homo erectus? Homo erectus lived in the far east during the Pliestocene. They stood about 6 feet tall and were more robust then modern humans. They had a rudimentary language. They were a transistion between the apes and humans. They were around when the bering land bridge existed when there was a great exchange between east and west of animal species. We know that those that went to southeast asia grew smaller as they went on the islands look at Homo floresiensis. Why then couldn't those that made it to the New World grow larger? It would explain why many reports say it looks not quite human-like in its face.

People making wild accusations and leaving it up to the victim[s] to try to defend themselves against evidence which does not even really exist. Excellent come back on the part of Bill Miller, who clearly gave this story a great deal of attention and focus. Too bad the perpetrators of this latest fiasco didn't do likewise!
They are all too willing to yell "fire" in a crowded room, just to have the notoriety of being the' first to respond'.

Track pics from Alberta

Here are some pics of track impressions that I took in May of 2009 in the Rocky Mountain foothills of Alberta.
The impressions measured 17" and the step average between 40" to 44". There were approx 12 impressions found over a couple of hundred yards along a cutline.

http://www.bigfootforums.com/index.php?act=attach&type=post&id=37360http://www.bigfootforums.com/index.php?act=attach&type=post&id=37359
http://www.bigfootforums.com/index.php?act=attach&type=post&id=37356http://www.bigfootforums.com/index.php?act=attach&type=post&id=37355

People in today's age

A few friends and I were talking about how it seems people in general have slid down hill since we were kids. Recently there was a murder right here in Vail Colorado with 3 wounded. Turns out this 63 year old man is a Vietnam Vet. He made claims and even had articles in the newspaper (before the murder) about him and how he had PTSD. He even did a fundraiser in 2007 for PTSD and was quoted saying he had watched men "die in his arms". Someone did a little research (after the murder this week) and it turns out he was a complete LIAR. Of the 2 years he was in the service, he spent the whole time as a dispatcher. He never saw the freakin dirt.

This horrible act reminded me of a certain LIAR we had to deal with here at the BFF.

Take a look at the other recent horrible acts of violence and even take a look at the last 10 years. The VTech massacre. The Christmas Massacre. The list goes on. But growin up, we NEVER heard of these horrific acts of violence. What we can not figure out is how this happened and when did it start? Where the hell is the personal honor and integrity?

Thoughts everyone? Don't get me wrong, there are still great people on this earth. Just seems people are crazier than they were when I was growing up in the 80's.
